I stayed there one night as a stay-cation because they had a pool and it was going to be a hot and sunny weekend. Check in was at 12, and I arrived at 12:30. They gave me room 105 and when I got there, the room hadn't been cleaned and the refrigerator didn't work. They let me store my bags... More

This was an excellent choice for the trip that I did. Located at San Telmo neighborhood, near from Puerto Madeiro (you can go walking), Casa Rosada and down town. The Hotel is very charm, clean and employees very pleasent. At first site, from the out side you couldn't imagine how nice Ribera Sur is, its location is a little dark... More

We enjoyed our stay at this place it was clean and nice (our room was very small...smaller than any room we have ever stayed but there were other bigger) No problems with the staff we found the man that worked the evening especially hospitable. there was a misunderstanding with where to take our laundry and then they charged us $100usd... I had a wonderful stay in this hotel. I cannot say enough about the level of hospitality at this place, it is not something that you see often these days, warm and kind without overdoing it, you get a sense that these people really enjoy their job and are passionate about it. Reception, housekeeping and Restaurant staff were all great.... More

The king size bed was nothing but two single beds with two single mattresses pushed together which gave me back pain and resulted in waking up during the night to push the two beds together which kept separating.. when I confronted the woman at the reception with my discomfort hoping they would at least get a big mattress and put... We stayed at this hotel in 2 separate occasions, once for 10 days and the second time for 3 weeks. We loved it every time and we will stay there next time!!! We loved the whole staff...they were so nice and helpful. We love the medialunas...the best!!! Only negative comment, the carpet needs some deep cleaning.

Good location and really friendly staff, but there were a couple of drawbacks: - The shuttle to the domestic airport was pretty expensive compared to the price we got in the end from a local remis company called Manuel Tienda Leon ( AR$130 vs AR$230) - The Hotel had an event one of the nights in the patio and the... We enjoyed staying in this hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are small, bath rooms as well. The restaurant is very good with friendly service, good breakfast and dinner. The location of the hotel is very convenient, close to the center of the city. Nevertheless, there is nothing of city noise in the rooms. Transportation from and to the... More

I have stayed here only one night, on a visit to a customer. It was booked with only a few days of anticipation, this place was one of the few hotels near Puerto Madero that had available rooms at a reasonable price (USD 120). I got a superior room (#208), sucessfully booked via Expedia. Cons - A few maintenance problems... More

A great boutique hotel near the boats in San Telmo.Walking distance to restaurants and all that San Telmo offers.Really comfy beds and rooms and close to airport freeway for those early morning flights.I'd stay here again they organised a taxi to the airport for 5am and everything went to plan.Very helpful staff.

Staying in San Telmo

Neighborhood Profile
San Telmo
Characterized by cobblestones and narrow streets, San Telmo is defined by the tango, the dance that made Buenos Aires world-famous. Tango is a fusion of many different cultures: a true child of immigration, much like the city itself. Nowadays, it comes alive after dark in the milongas (dance parties) attended by both locals and visitors alike, who dance until the wee hours of the morning. During the day, the antique shops and classic cafés and bars around Plaza Dorrego dominate the scene. The emblematic Bar Plaza Dorrego, with its green awnings, checkered tile floors, and wooden interiors, takes you back in time the moment you step inside. For true porteño traditions, San Telmo is the place to be.
