Avoid this hotel at all cost. The place is seemingly run by hippies and absolutely not appropriate for families with small children. Breakfast is included and contains of yesterdays cake and juice syrup. The bathroom is a dump. Completely overrated, and overpriced.

Had a great time at borges hostel all the receptionists are nice and helpfull. The place has a really good vibe and you can always find good people to talk to and drink with on the main patio. The location is excellent a walking distance from palermo street which has a bunch of nice pubs and clubs. I highly reccomend... More

Drinking people, no rules at all, high music in the night, careless receptionist smoking marihuana, i jus ran away after 1 hour if check in. Horrible experience. Will never come back, i had to walk withmy luggage to find a last minute hostel, i felt like homeless.

Very well located, the staff is super friendly and helpful !! This place was recommended by a friend and I enjoyed staying there. The hostal is well located, not too expensive compared to others, a little old with some charm. Breakfast was good and suffucient. This hostal is a member of holahostal and I had only good experience with them... More

This hostel is attended by super friendly... Good enough considering the low price. Excelent location in an area with many bars and cool design stores. Even though the place is quiet. The rooms and building have an odd mix of cool design with threadbare stuff

I had made a reservation at this place but had to cancel it due to my unavailability to travel. Even though I cancelled well over a week before the date of my arrival, they still charged me the amount for one night, even though their cancellation policy indicated that cancelling would be free of charge if you did so up... Everything was great! It's a very unique hostel. There is music bands, art exhibitions, NGO actions, and other things going on. The ambience is very relaxed and friendly. Staff is always ready to help with anything you need.

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
