One thing to pack before you get to this hostel: FLASH LIGHT There is something seriously wrong with the amount of electricity this hostel saves; you almost have to walk around with a flash light coz most of the places are in darkness.. the rooms are rather average, no air conditioning what so ever and no windows for ventilation either... I was very satisfied with my stay at Art Factory. This was the rare time where I got my own room, however, so I can't speak to the dormitories. As for the four singles (sans bath) rooms I checked out, I'd easily recommend #16 (where I stayed) as #9 fronts a hall with a window rather abruptly downstairs, #18 fronts... More

We spent 3 nights here back in December 2013. The vibe at this hostel is awesome - music and drinks flowing on the rooftop bar, and awesome art over every inch of walls. Positives: the daily breakfast is very good...scrambled eggs, breads, cereals, juice, coffee etc. The drinks in house are pretty cheap, and there is usually an event on... More

The hostel is close to the Sunday market, shops and has a lot of art work every where. The staff were friendly enough. The dorms weren't too bad but would benefit with more than just 1 fan. There are small lockers for your day packs but no large lockers for your backpack. We unfortunately had a dorm near the road... More

El lugar esta buenisimo, la gente genial y esta muy bien ubicado. Podria quedarme a vivir ahí! Habria sido mejor si hubiera sabido que podía pagar un poquito más por una habitación con AA (casi morimos de calor) pero planeo volver :) Amazing place, nice people and is well located. I could stay and live there! It would've been much... More

Decent choice in San Telmo, the neighbourhood that's a bit laid back and vibey. Dead easy to reach from the metro which is a blessing as this city is hard on the feet. Close to Sundays's mega market too. Loads of graffiti on the walls, nice common spaces, great check in blokes, pots and pots of dulce de leite. Let... More

Fantastic hostel with funky art everywhere. Theres loads of really nice communal areas, including a really cool roof top terrace and 2 bars, one inside and one outside. Everywhere is clean and fresh. The dorms are nice, comfortable with air conditioning. Kitchen is on the small side but is well equipt. Staff really friendly and helpful. Definitely would recommend!

The hostel is very well located, and near the centre of the city. We stayed in a comfortable bedroom for two people with a private bathroom, which was great. However the shared bathrooms could be cleaner and the some of the staff could be a little more helpful. Overall good value for money.

Not the cheapest and very basic but it has a good vibe to it. The room was clean enough and all other facilities were standard. If the rooms were a little cheaper then it would get a 4/5 from me because there is a lot of similar competition out there. Lock your door though, especially if walking around naked. I'd... More
