This hostel is in a great location and at a great price. The staff is amazing, as the countless regulars from Buenos Aires that were once boarders can attest, going out of their way to be helpful as employees and friends after hours. It is, however, a hostel. I don't know what the negative reviewers were excepting when they checked... More

The staff here are it's best asset! They were lovely from the day I arrived - nothing was too much trouble, they remembered my name and would offer you anything they could! Location is fantastic! Consider this when looking at prices - when you consider this is in the middle of the best and safest area of BA it really... More

I chose this hostel mainly because of its location. It's very near to the Plaza Serrano, great nightlife. But in the overall it's very good. The customer service was great. I would totally recommend this Hostel to those who are looking for a good and young location. Not for those that are looking for a luxury hotel.

I can't believe they claim to be a 'design' hostel! There's not a lot going for it from a design point of view. Their website makes it look like quite a trendy place, but once you get there you realise it's not. Please don't believe the pics on their site and take a look at my photos here for a... More

While the comments regarding the amenities and the cost are hard to argue, the location is great for going out and close to public transportation. Plus, the people are fantastic and very willing to offer advice. And pretty good at breaking down poor grammatical Spanish.

Looking at the Hostel's Web Site Photos this place looks clean and quite modern. Do not be fooled by this. It is old and dirty and overpriced at $55 US for 2 per night. There are much better places. It is worth more like $7 per night.

Its a "design hostal" so i expected a certain minimum of standard, more than your average hostal. The only designs i saw were the art on the walls, which were basically squiggles of something. Its an ok place, if you dont mind dirty bedsheets (blood and something else....), old furniture, poorly maintained rooms and bathrooms, basic breakfast, loud noise during... More

We are travelling since 4,5 months through central and south america and this was the most expensive an the DIRTIEST place we ever slept. We booked a twin. The room was really small: two beds and a small old metal closet. The bedspreads were very dirty. I´m afraid they were not washed since months or even years! The wash-bowl was... More

This hostel was in a great location, in the centre of Palermo which has many trendy boutiques, restaurants, and bars in the area. We got a private double room with our own bathroom. The room was a good size, albeit it could do with some new paint and a good clean! However the staff were friendly and were really helpful... More

I booked this hostel through my airline, thinking if they put their name to it, it was probably good. I was wrong. First, the pro´s: 1) Location: the hostel is about 4 blocks away from the Plaza Italia subte station. THis makes it easy to get to the main sights around twon. The hostel is NOT centrally located, but the... More
