Well I will start by saying that if you have an upcoming booking here, if at all possible change your hotel because you will be extremely dissapointed with this one. We were a family of 5 and upon arrival there were no rooms for us. We were taken down dark steps at 01.30 in the morning to what can best be described as very poor staff quarters with dirty laundry and rubbish strewn around outside. The floors were very crooked and the doors would not close so felt very unsafe with no locked front door that would only partially closed. Also no aircon and dirty bedding. We eventually got entry to our rooms the next afternoon, although these were not much better, filthy, mouldy and stank. The rooms were not cleaned at all during our 10 night stay as the manager had fallen out en mass with the cleaning team a month prior to our arrival and they all left at once. the cleaning was now the responsibility of a young man who was previously the glass collector. The all inclusive was the worst it could be, on 90% of the visites they had no alchohol whatsover, no water, tea, coffee, milk etc. etc. Every time we complained the staff just grinned and said finished. The main hotel reception was a constand battle zone with irate customers shouting at the management and complaining about the lack of drinks and food available. The communal grounds were shabby and strewn with rubbish and as a result of no cleaning of tables etc around the pool area the place was alive with swarms of wasps. We booked with Love Holidays and I must say they have also been awful, despite several calls and emails they have yet to reply to any so I would avoid them at all costs. i could go on and on as the hotel was so bad but I have hopefully made my point and will at least prevent any other unfortunate sould having to stay here.

Hotel has great location - in the hill with wonderful view. A lot of free sunbeds and umbrellas in the pool. Most of guests are out of the hotel so swimming pool is almost empty. Meals - we are budget tourist, we don't need 10 dishes for lunch or dinner. I confirm that choice wasn't big but everything was very good tasted. There was 2 problems: communication - out of massage man nobody spoke English (or spoke very, very weak). That is why we couldn't get explanation for next issue. All Inclusive... didn't include beer or wine and some soft drinks. Why? Because for 4 nights only 2 evenings they served it! Bartenders had only one answer - FINISHED! When we arrive we drunk just 1 glass of wine (beer has been finished) and that's all because it finished. Until next afternoon was only Fanta, juice, water and spirits. No beer and wine!!! Next evening we had All Inclusive - they bought beer in the bottles and share 1 bottle for 2 glasses. Next morning beer and wine has been... finished! Beer was warm because they split 0,5l bottle for 2 glasses. When someone before me took 1 beer I get which stayed on the table for long time was warm and without gas!!! Solution was taking 2 beers in 1 order but I still didn’t know if I’ll get 1 glass from new bottle and 1 from opened earlier. Doesn’t matter because beer and wine... were finished next day - for the lunch was only strong alcohol again. It is not strange - I saw 2 bottles (3 liters) of wine and about 40 bottles of beer - number of guests: about 100. Next part of the day finished almost each soft drinks (cola, sparkling water even Fanta) and guest could drink only... raki! Last evening was only mineral water to drink - no beer, wine, soft drinks, spirits. Anything!!! Other problems like serving ice by hands without using and pliers or spoon (fortunately bartenders did it only for Turkish guest - maybe it was normal for them, not for us), catching cups with fingers inside them we could finally accept - maybe it is part of culture. We arrived at 4 pm and room wasn't ready. We were 4 but gest just 3 beds! No activities, music (mostly Russian and Turkish) were all the time changed and very loud. Staff clean pool areas very occasionally - in the morning were a lot of rubbish, and cigarettes. We we asked fro cleaning - they clean only our areas, other left dirty. Also plates for dishes were very often dirty - washing machine didn't work as should.

Just returned from a family holiday these are the main points: • Temporary Rooms – When we arrived at the hotel at 2am on 19th July we were told one of our rooms were not ready. We are a party of 7 including 2 small children. We were taken without any help through the outside of the hotel, down very steep stairs no lightening, broken paths.– firstly placed in a room with only one bed for 3 people. After explaining there were 3 people moved to another room however this room had not been cleaned but due to the time, and very tired children we had to stay. It felt very unsafe. They said we could move first thing in the morning however it wasn’t until 2pm that afternoon, again no help with bags up lots of stairs. This also happened to several other people who stayed at the hotel, it wasn’t a one off. The second room (Permanent Room) failed to have a cot and they could not provide one until the following day and they pointed to a sofa which explained that was where she could sleep, however we were not provided with any sheets and the sofa did not pull out etc. The balcony had a huge hedge on it, which took up most of the balcony attracting large ants and wasps. You couldn’t sit outside. There was a small table and one chair (for a room of 4) however the table was broken. • Cleanliness – The hotel was very unclean, staff were not tidying and cleaning the main areas, apart from collecting glasses. Surfaces behind the bar very bad, sticky attracting flies and wasps etc. There was broken glass on the floor for two days. Our rooms were not cleaned there was no clean toilet paper or towels put into the room, despite requests. We had to hunt around the hotel to find a cupboard where they were stored. Even when my daughter was sick, it wasn’t until the next day we got a new towel. Our other daughter just turned two years old still in nappies and the bins were not emptied. We had to do this ourselves. • False Advertising – o 1)The hotel claimed to have evening entertainment; however, this was not the case. As I previously said we had children with us and we booked it due to kid’s club and evening entertainment and there wasn’t anything apart from very loud music – odd time one of the bar staff would dance but this is not organised entertainment. o 2)The hotel also advertised a free bus which went to the beach, however when we asked, they said no so we had to get a taxi due to not being very central and very secluded – another added expense. o 3)The hotel also stated there was a shop on site -THIS WAS NOT THE CASE – they only sold shish pipes and flavours also fridge magnets – literally nothing else and this shop consisted of a table where two men sat all day drinking. We were also told that we were not allowed to bring our own produce, food or drinks into the hotel – however the children couldn’t get an ice cream etc. When we asked for the nearest shop, he explained it was 15mins walk and pointed to sign no food or drink to be brought into hotel. o 4)The hotel also advertised a Turkish Spa; we saw where it used to be – bunk beds had been placed there for the bar staff – very unhygienic and the smell was terrible. Dirty clothes on the floor. When we asked about the spa, they pointed to the seating area next to reception where there was a curtain where massages were given – not the previous Turkish baths I had experienced before. • Food and Hygiene – The food was very limited especially being an all inclusive. The food often ran out and there were very limited food options – rice and stew daily. Simple things like bread, fruit etc ran out and were not replenished. There wasn’t much refrigerated areas, only a small section for the salad, however the desserts were left out, flies and wasps were all over the food. All my family were sick (including children) or complained of sore stomachs at one point or another – this was reported to staff and nothing was sorted or acknowledged. • SOFT, ALCOHOLIC DRINKS AND POLICE RAID – This was probably the worse all inclusive I have been at. On the first day I asked for two beers, then my mother-in-law went to get two and they said the beer was finished. I asked when it would be returning, they said tomorrow at 1pm it was only 3pm previous day. We asked what other options there was and there was only wine, gin or vodka, however these would also run out and there wasn’t anything else to drink. Soft drinks also ran out daily, and the only drinks available was water or cherry juice which is not acceptable on an all inclusive basis. The Police entered the Hotel and confiscated everything alcoholic from the Hotel – we were informed later by staff they either didn’t have licence or it was illegal alcohol it was difficult due to language barrier but it was very serious. We asked if they would be able to sort the situation and he said 50-50 they were not sure.

We visited this hotel about 10 years ago and the rooms were clean and fresh, the outside space was beautiful, the all inclusive was such good value with food on offer all day long, including fresh pizzas from the pizza oven. The hotel was buzzing with a range of different guests and staff. Now, the hotel rooms are damp in the corners, the furniture is falling apart and sofas stained, mini-fridge doesn't work. The shower was disgusting and sprayed everywhere, the mirror had water scum marks on it where it clearly hadn't been cleaned in a long while and the toilet was in despereate need of a good bleach. To be frank, the bathroom needed gutting. They had included some toiletries and slippers, but perhaps needed to deal with the hygeine factors and basics before attempting to go above and beyond. It would have been pointless trying to explain the issues we had because none of the staff spoke any English. Unless you speak Turkish, the hotel is no longer suitable for British tourists. The staff spoke next to no English. I like being immersed in another culture whilst on holiday but it's safe to say that you wouldn't have been able to ask for a new loo roll if you'd run our without Google Translate. On arrival we were not given any information what so ever, just a key. There is no information in your room to let you know the times of the all inclusive meals, no advice on local attractions and excursions, no explanation of whether your rooms are cleaned daily or if you should leave a door hanger on your door (our room was cleaned once during our stay and i think it's because they thought we'd left early because they binned everything we'd left in the room after we spent two nights with friends who were staying nearby). The entertainer/activites person didnt speak English either so our family didnt manage to get involved with the water polo games. One of the bar men was drunk when we returned from an evening out and didnt inform us that after midnight the all-inclusive bar finishes, we would have been fine with this, however he tried to charge us for a pint of vodka and tonic, after we ordered a lager shandy (this definitely wasnt a language barrier as we pointed to the beer pump and actually handed him a bottle of Sprite as he was being so unhelpful...in the end i poured my own drink and went up to bed. The food was poor and there was little option. It was not unlimited like it used to be..in the day most all inclusives at least offer a snack menu but Artemesia does not. The hotel was really disappointing and i'm sad to say that i would not recommend this to travellers in the future. We ended up showering at our friends villa and sleeping there on several occasions, eating/drinking out and filling our time with stuff outside of the hotel...completely defeating the point of an all inclusive break. It has major potential to be a fantastic hotel, great for weddings, parties...like a little mamma mia hotel, but in it's current state i couldn't possiby recommend it to anyone.

Not an ideal place for british people at all as no english tourists other than us. No english food. No english speaking bar staff. Friendly turkish tourists. Rooms need to be updated. No cleaners with fresh towels until i asked 3 days into holiday.mould everywhere in shower. Wi fi awful. No diet dri ks. On the top of a very very steep hill. Only way out is a taxi. Just do not cater for the english. On the only plus side pool amd weather was fab. Never return to this hotel again.

This is a late review as i stayed here 2 years ago! The hotel is located at the top of the hill and is a little further out from everything. The hotel was quite, there weren't many guests. It has wonderful views over Fethiye/Oludeniz looking over the mountains. Sunset is beautiful. The rooms were very basic but the pool was great! I only stayed for 1 night as i was boarding a gulet cruise the next day, it was an ok hotel for the night but wouldn't really recommend it for longer stays due to location.

Stayed last year but only just having chance to review now. This hotel has the chance to be amazing. The building and the pool are lovely. The views are stunning and the sunsets are the best i've seen. The staff on the other hand were horrendous! Not at all welcoming. The food is not great and you are watched like a hawk to make sure you don't take too much. The food is quickly whisked away at end of breakfast time so dont be late. The rooms are basic but adequate and are very spacious. The pool is huge. I probably wouldn't visit here again
