This is a lovely place to base out of for the Turquoise Coast. The staff are sweet and helpful and the food is amazing....5 course dinners = 5 lbs on the waistline....but what is vacation for? The only issue are mosquitos....there are so many that a leisurely/romantic dinner is not possible. Bring spray....

It really is paradise. We've stayed in oodles of places all over the world - but this one has them all beat for the outstanding warmth and kindness of the lovely local staff, the gorgeous and huge rooms, the much loved old Ottoman furniture, the gardens and views, and the food.... which is cooked in a big open kitchen where... Thank you everyone for a wonderful holiday, the food was even better than last year (if that is possible!). After a few days in Istanbul we arrived at Mandarin to be greeted warmly by Aysegul, Bilge and staff. We soon slotted back into the relaxing country house atmosphere of this small boutique hotel. Being early in the season, we ate... More

We had a fantastic stay here. The price includes breakfast, tea and dinner - all delicious, traditional, local food. Some great Turkish wines of varying prices are also on offer. The garden and pool areas are beautiful, offering plenty of space to either sit in a comfy arm chair or lie around on the poolside loungers. As this hotel has... More

We have just returned from a week's walking holiday (May 2014) and stayed on for a couple of extra days. The hotel is charming; small and intimate, beautifully situated and with a very relaxed ambience. The rooms are very spacious, extremely comfortable and well equipped; the management and staff (including Pasha the dog) friendly and caring, the pool and garden... More

We joined the photography week in May 2014 ably led by Nicholas Fischer - a UK photographer. It was so much fun- small intimate group, loads of laughs and stories, superb scenery, expert guidance when needed and a fantastic way to start our European adventure. The coastal and mountain scenery is stunning, the local walks peaceful and the amenities of the... More

I visited in May 2013 for a week long walking holiday. This hotel is very special. The setting is entirely peaceful and it is remote which contributes to a deeply relaxing 'away from it all' experience. It is very small and it feels like you are staying in a Turkish home; you feel touched by the care of the staff,... More

This was our first ever visit to Turkey and what a way to start! A truly beautiful individual hotel run by the friendly and passionate owner, an absolutely first rate manager (Achegul - sorry if I spelt this wrong!) and their team of long-standing and hard-working dedicated staff.... its a far cry from the fly and flop package holiday image... Villa Mandarin is a delightful refuge on a beautiful part of the Turkish coast. The welcome is warm and personal, the staff attentive and friendly and the accommodation very comfortable and well thought out. There is a different and delicious menu every night and as it is a small location guests chat to each other like old friends. Ghislain and... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
An unspoilt setting, luxurious surroundings and a warm, personal welcome... Opened in the summer of 2007, Mandarin is a delightful boutique hotel situated in an unspoilt natural setting close to south-west Turkey's magnificent Turquoise Coast. Perfect for nature lovers who also value a touch of luxury and a high level of personal service, Mandarin has been designed as a stylish and supremely comfortable hideaway, which nevertheless boasts a pleasantly informal atmosphere without any hint of stuffiness or pretension. Mandarin comprises just eight guestrooms and thus offers a very intimate ambience, making it the perfect venue for a small group to rent for a special celebration, club event or even a business meeting. However, the hotel is equally suited to romantic couples and guests wishing to stay in unspoilt surroundings, relax in unperturbed peace and perhaps indulge in a few nature-based activities. Please note that, to maintain its air of tranquillity, Mandarin operates a no-children policy (with the exception of group bookings renting the hotel in its entirety). ...introducing one of Turkey's most exclusive retreats ... more   less
