We spent a week at the Mandarin during the first week in June 2013.The location was slightly off the beaten track in Turkey which meant that it was quiet and peaceful . There is access by road car / bus - to many beautiful beaches and other places of interest. One can also walk to nearby beaches , The facilities... More

We booked 3 weeks at the Mandarin after receiving a Cachet brochure and following my husband's conversation with Ghislaine , the MD. He mentioned everything about the hotel, save for the fact that he was co-owner and therefore hardly impartial. We arrived in early May and were most disappointed with the experience. My husband wanted to leave after a day... More

I am very sorry that you did not enjoy your stay at Mandarin. Quite irrespective of ownership, Cachet Travel recommend Mandarin Boutique Hotel on the basis of its exceptionally high satisfaction ratings, not just on Tripadvisor, but also on their own customer feedback questionnaires. The fact that your own opinion of our hotel was so at odds with the praise... More

Just returned from a walking week and can highly recommend it. Ghislain and Pacha (the dog) create a good mix of local history and excellent walking routes. Some of the routes were quite tough, but well worth it to get the views. We stayed on for an extra three days to 'chill out'. The hotel, food and grounds are all... More

We have just returned from a week at the Mandarin and I can honestly say I have never been so satisfied with a holiday. Pure relaxation from the minute we stepped off the plane. Its exactly what it says on the tin; remote, beautiful, delicious home cooked food every day from am to pm. We felt so lucky to have... More

We stayed for 1 week in late April and had the most relaxing holiday we have ever had. Everything went smoothly - from booking through Cachet Travel to the time we left. Cachet Travel were superbly efficient and answered our questions fully, accurately and expertly. The pick-up from the airport was hassle-free as was the return to the airport at... More

I'm writing this review almost a year late! We stayed in May 2012 & I have just got round to writing this now. We had a gorgeous, relaxing honeymoon in the 'real' Turkey. It was peaceful & just what we needed. Every aspect of the hotel was spot on and the food was amazing. We loved having a long &... More

One of the many Turkish words we learnt from the wonderful staff at the Mandarin. We arrived around midnight, feeling very tired after a long delayed flight from the UK, followed by a very hairy journey in the dark across the mountains from Olu Deniz. We had a very warm welcome from Aisha who immediately showed us our beautiful room... More

My family and I stayed here last week and we all agreed it was a very charming hotel and it was the perfect way to cap off our trip. The hotel is a little isolated which I actually really liked. Oludeniz itself is kind of gross + touristy but the Mandarin is in a different town and it just feels... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
An unspoilt setting, luxurious surroundings and a warm, personal welcome... Opened in the summer of 2007, Mandarin is a delightful boutique hotel situated in an unspoilt natural setting close to south-west Turkey's magnificent Turquoise Coast. Perfect for nature lovers who also value a touch of luxury and a high level of personal service, Mandarin has been designed as a stylish and supremely comfortable hideaway, which nevertheless boasts a pleasantly informal atmosphere without any hint of stuffiness or pretension. Mandarin comprises just eight guestrooms and thus offers a very intimate ambience, making it the perfect venue for a small group to rent for a special celebration, club event or even a business meeting. However, the hotel is equally suited to romantic couples and guests wishing to stay in unspoilt surroundings, relax in unperturbed peace and perhaps indulge in a few nature-based activities. Please note that, to maintain its air of tranquillity, Mandarin operates a no-children policy (with the exception of group bookings renting the hotel in its entirety). ...introducing one of Turkey's most exclusive retreats ... more   less
