We have just returned from a two week stay at Club Phokaia and had a really good time. We met some great people that made the stay all the more special and I genuinely rated the holiday. A few things to be aware of though which let it down. Positives – 1) Childcare – super staff, super facilities and lots... more

My boyfriend and I are Mark Warner fans but as MW seem to be devaluing their brand we thought we would try Sunsail to see how it compares. The location of the hotel is fantastic with lovely views and fantastic sunsets. The weather was fab and the way the hotel is set up is very attractive. I particularly liked the... more

Having been on many Sunsail holidays before this one, we were expecting a high quality product, only to be disappointed. The room we were first given was more like that of an 18-30's holiday with damage to doors walls as well as rather ugly mould growing in the bathroom and a perfect view of a busy road, despite pre booking... more

On the positive side, the sailing was great as were the beach staff. Good selection of dinghies to try out over a large sailing area. The wind was not as strong as suggested by the web site but overall it was fine. There is now sailing until 7PM which is a major benefit. The hotel is clean and well maintained.... more

Hi. We stayed here on a free-be thanks to Covers builder’s merchants for 1 week from 8th June but had to go home early due to business commitments. Like everyone else we felt the bar prices for drinks were too high and would suggest going down the Road to collect supplies. The food was OK but got a bit repetitive... more

Have just come back from one of the most brilliant holidays i have ever had, i dont sail or windsurf, or even swim very well, and was a little apprehensive before i went, but the moment i arrived, i saw it was a very chilled, very friendly, and just perfect. I sat at the jetty bar after a long day... more

Club Phokaia is lovely. It's kept in fantastic condition, the hotel and restaurant staff are extremely polite and friendly and the facilities are great. The food is excellent, often cooked in front of you, lots of fresh fish and local foods. Desserts are lacking though! The complaints I have read about the cost of water seem unfounded to me. It's... more

First things first - we're Sunsail fans so bear that in mind. A lovely hotel operated in true Sunsail style by 18 - 21 year old staff. Interestingly unlike Vounaki/Antigua where the management team was on site 24 hrs a day even the staff admitted; they had never met the hotel manager. Great kids clubs, great intercom service, fantastic fun... more

This was our first Sunsail Holiday and there were some great points but I am not sure we will go again. The resort is lovely, overlooking the sea. Rooms a bit pokey, but you don't spend much time in there. The beach is gritty and dirty sand, which is a bit disappointing. Obviously most people are there for the sailing... more

The people who come on Sunsail holidays generally come for one of two reasons, either they are avid sailors or they have kids who they want (with the best will in the world) to be entertained for a week or two so that they can get down to the serious business of having a proper holiday away from them. If... more
