Very good hotel for hollydays in the country side of Portugal. The town of Tomar is nice and calm with good restaurants. The historical interest of the town is huge. The hotel is very confortable and the staff very nice and helpful. more

Tomar is an amazing place to visit. The last refuge of the Templars with a stunning castle and church yet strangely not as popular as it should be. This hotel feels a bit big for the town. Very much a high stars offering which sits on the edge of the historical district. A few gripes I'd like to raise though.... more

My wife and I have been fortunate to have stayed in some of the World's finest and well known hotels (Gleneagles, Reids Palace in Madeira, Hotel de la Cite in Carcassonne, Hotel Continental in Oslo) and we found this hotel absolutely stunning. The bedrooms, the public areas (restaurant, bar, lounges etc.) are all first rate and the view of the... more

Stayed for one night whilst visiting Convento de Christo - which was stunning. This hotel is as you would expect for a large modern 4star hotel. Our room was spacious and overlooked the river, gardens and town. The town is withing walking distance of the hotel and is charming . We had supper in a small restaurant , Tabuleiro ,... more

We got a very good price for this very nice hotel. Our kids really liked the pool, it was partly shallow so that a bit bigger kids could swim on their own. The pool area was really nice and with good service, pool towels and adjacent showers. The pool area was partly in shadow most of the day which spared the... more

Large room (210), located in the center of hotel above the beautiful fountain. Complimentary bottle of port. The room was comfortable, the bed was great. The breakfast was spectacular. I would recommend to every discriminating traveler. The only drawback is the king-sized bed on the platform. It looks wonderful, but I tripped and badly bruised my knee when I forgot... more

After visiting Castelo Branco in the east we used the motorway to arrive early in Tomar. No problem to find the hotel as it is located adjacent to a nice park. We got a great room with a spacious balcony at the third floor with one of the nicest views: viewing south over the park and the old city center... more

Tomar was one of our favorite places in central Portugal. The castle was amazing and the town was charming. Our room at the hotel was spacious and had an unbelievable view of the park, stream, town and castle. This is definitely a modern hotel with both the pros and cons that that suggests. We used the small indoor pool and... more

What a pleasant surprise! Our first night on the mainland after eight nights in Madeira, we decided to stay in Tomar, a beautiful city with a gorgeous church/monastery of the Templars dating back to Prince Henry. Part of our objecive was being reasonably close to Fatima, which it is. We didn't know what to expect at this property, which some... more

I’ve been at this hotel for 2 nights, at a business event. Rooms are very good and the hotel has great places (beautiful entrance, bar, swimming pool, gym and pool). The restaurant is also very nice and breakfast is fantastic! Near the hotel reception, you will find a free Wi-fi access to connect your computer to Internet. more
