We stayed at Quinta dos Poetas last August and only wish there were enough holidays to have returned this year. Set in glorious countryside, you ponder your way through some peaceful lanes amazed that you are only 20 minutes from Faro airport and you come upon a little treasure..... So much so I dont want to tell you really, but fairs fair! A Quinta (country house) that has been modernised by its architect owners both sympathetically and with spotless extras.... more

We just returned from a bicycle trip to the Algarve. We stayed the whole week at Quinta dos Poetas. It is a lovely quiet hotel in the countryside between Faro, Pechao, Estoi and Olhao. Quinta dos Poetas is a gem find in this most beautiful region of rural Algarve. Superbly located near Faro Airport, an easy 20 minutes by rental car and near the old City of Olhao by the sea.
