We arrived here at about 8.30pm when we pulled up we thought that it was a construction site as they are doing renervations. We were taken down to the dining area and asked to fill out for tomorrow's breakfast. We were all tired and just wanted to relax as we were coming from lovina. We booked a family room only... More

Our arrival was a little stressful as we were escorted to the dinning area while dinner was being served & dancers were entertaining the guests. We were asked to choose our breakfast for the following morning. We were all tired & really were not concerned with breakfast options. To our surprise our breakfasts were presented on plates that has our... More

When we were travelling around Bali on a scooter we arrived in Candidasa to find some accommodation - almost everything was booked out, except for the Ashyana, who only had a 2 night Honeymoon package, so we took it and were greatly surprised. They went all out with flower arch to the entrance of our villa, flower arrangements in the... More

Had lunch at Ashyana after we took a jukung to snorkel at Blue Lagoon. The jukung is moored just out the front of Ashyana so we decided to pop in for a bight to eat and to dry off. It was pre-lunch (11:30am) so we were the only ones in the restaurant. Option of indoor or outdoor dining. The restaurant... More

Candi Dasa is off the beaten path for Bali. I came here with a tour and was impressed with the extra customer care. They did little things to make us feel welcome - as soon as we arrived, they ushered us to the restuarant and placed our bags in our rooms (first place that actually looked at luggage tags and... I stayed at Ashyana as part of a tour in August.I cant fault my bungalow-it was clean, comfortable and the amenities were great. We walked to a small local beach as the beach at our resort was not that great. The staff were attentive and polite. We were welcomed with a delicious cocktail! The only downside was the evening meal-the food was quite... More

We had a prior booking which failed to be recorded so at last minute booked under pressure at what was touted as a top class resort. What an utter joke - but the joke was on us. Nothing was of any real class, the room was adequate but not excellent. The glasses were smeared with prior guest's leavings, unwashed. Towels... More

2 days enough. Room with ocean view and pool right at front door. Nice little sitting area. Not easiest place to have a swim in the ocean..I stuck to the pool. Vincent's restaurant worthwhile. Glad I've been there but not somewhere I'm rushing to get back to. Headed up further to Amed ..much more the real deal Bali.

Once again stayed at the Ashyana this time in family room, with two adults and two teenage children. The staff are wonderful and welcome you back like you are family. The hotel is located on the main street with in easy walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants, with a 24 hour mini mart across the road. The rooms... More
