For those who are interested in the real life of the Indian royalty and can't afford the Lake Palace, this is the place! It's a real palace still in the hands of the original royal family. It's not a palace sold to a corporation to renovate the past away. Don't come here for modern luxuries, come to experience something unique,... More

We only had a one night stopover here on our way to Mount Abu, the good points were the beautiful setting on the lake, and the infinity pool. We picked the best suite which was ok, but in keeping with everything else in the hotel was 1920/30 with its furniture and fixtures, but very spacious. The downside was the very... More

I must confess that I booked this property with a lot of trepidation. But all my fears were laid to rest once I got there. The ideal lake setting ,the peace and tranquility made me want the time to standstill! Marble staircases ,Art Deco furniture ,royal personal memorabilia ,portraits ,wild life trophies,an inviting swimming pool ....I felt more like a... More

Super excellent will also be under rated words for this palace! Being there is exactly the same feeling of how our kings and queens have had lived their authentic luxurious life and now they have made the same available for the commoners! I mean every thing was exclusive, authentic, traditional, royal, luxurious etc. about staying experience. I was there with... More

This palace built largely in the 19th century with probably additions in the 20th century and some recent upgrading is a delight because fundamentally one is the guest of the Royal family who continue to live there with young children in three generations. That is the important aspect that it is NOT a five star hotel with every gadget and... More

A quiet and friendly palace like a home on a lake built in 1856. The royals still live there and the entire place is kept unlocked. The courtyard is the most amazing place to be and click pictures. The open to sky restaurant around a raise water body when lit by the night with candles and LED is a gourp... More

Great place if you are planning to relax. Go for the suite rooms for the royal experience though you will have shell out more for same. Food is good but with limited options specially for kids so plan and check it with the manager. Take your swimming gear along to enjoy the infinity pool. The collection of trophies of wild... More

Udai Bilas Palace..! Ideally suitable to travel in monsoon season ( which is unpredictable these days due to el-nino effects in weather around the world ) Indeed a bird watcher paradise (impressed ! by list of birds migrate & flock around throughout the season in the room ) I'll term this property as "Heritage property"...most of the rooms have been...
