We stayed as a family group of 9 at Aan de Doorns for one night. This is an amazing place full of heritage and homeliness. This is an old building not a brand new plastic hotel so expect a bit of flaking paint and wonderful old furniture. The dogs are great fun and there just seems to be a sense... More

My family chose Aan De Doorns Guest House in the Worcester wine land for our recent family reunion. Several of us stayed for a couple of nights. The food served at the reunion reception was excellent. The rooms are spacious with large on-suite bathrooms. I highly recommend this venue.

We recently had a breakfast buffet with family there. Venue was fantastic, but sadly service was extremely poor! We arrived for a booking of many people and almost 18 of us could not be served any more hot breakfast! We paid R55.00 pp and was told other guest already finished the eggs! all that was left was cold food! I... More

Dear Ralph G The Sunday breakfast for 50 people was quoted and specified as an Continental Breakfast as you know this is a cold self help buffet breakfast that was constantly refilled throughout the morning, with a wide variety of breads, cold meats, cheeses yogurt cereals etc . The breakfast was suppose to start at 10 am but unfortunately many... More

Marietta is very well versed on all the local wine farms and activities. There is loads to do in the area. So follow her advice. We tasted olives and olive oils at Willow Creek. Had a look at Beautiful Leipzig. Had some awesome beer from the Saggy Stone pub, brewed in their micro brewery. The best wine from Alvi's Drift... More

We were visiting family in Worcester - what a super experience instead of staying in town. Our grandchildren loved every minute. For a real Western Cape experience, look no further. The hosts are very friendly and warm - the ambiance was wonderful and the beds were warm on a cold night. There was snow on the mountains all around, this... More

I just spent a long holiday weekend exploring the Breede River valley with my boyfriend. We stopped at several spots along the way, but were warmly greeted by Marita and Andries and their lovely dogs at Aan De Doorns. The historic farm house is absolutely stunning and I felt pampered in my en-suite bathroom complete with claw-foot tub and view... More

It was amazing how quickly we felt at home! To fall asleep in a spacious room overlooking some vinyards and the wind in your ears. What could possibly be better? We will recommend it to all our friends visiting the area. It would just be wrong not to!!!!

As periodic visitors from the UK we had in mind a round trip from Cape Town along the Garden Route to Knysna returning through the Little Karoo, following the R62. It proved to be one of our best trips because of the wild life, wild flowers, scenery and some of the friendliest people we have ever met. A highlight was... More

My friends and I have been goin to Aan De Doorns for 3 consecutive years as an annual get-together and have never been disappointed by the warm welcome and fantastic hospitality. The quaint furnishings in the rooms add to the wonderful farmhouse feel and the large, modern bathrooms will definitely be a conversation point. Thank you again Andries and Marita... More

What a fantastic place to stay. We had excellent hospitality from Andries and Marita. Even though we arrived late , Marita went out of her way to whip up a delicious dinner for us at short notice. They are also both passionate about the area and gave us a lot of info and even a "wine tasting". We will be... More
