We were delighted with our stay. The guesthouse is beautifully furnished and has a wonderful, tranquil atmosphere. The room and bathroom were luxurious. Our host, Hennie, was attentive and extrememly helpful with advice of places to go and things to see. We enjoyed the tasty breakfasts and the convenient location, within walking distance to town. We loved every moment of... More

We stayed at Roosenwijn for the 3rd year in a row in March and I still think it is good value for money and a lovely place. Rooms are a good size, even with the sloping of the roof. Always clean and very good location to get to town. Free secure parking as well. Building on the upper deck area... More

Glad that you chose to stay with us 3 years in a row. The outside deck is sealed now and you can enjoy the sunshine there. The cd was put to rest. Hope to see you next year again More

This property was perfect for me. Close enough to Capetown for day trips but far enough away to keep a cozy atmosphere. The front desk staff was very friendly and incredibly helpful. The room was big, clean and comfortable. The shower was hot, strong and mounted up high so I could stand up straight and relax in the flowing hot... More

Lovely to return to such a great guest house, two years after we were here for our wedding. The staff couldn't be more accommdating and our room (the family room) was magnificent! We have very special memories of this wonderful hotel

Good service and friendly. The rooms were neat and tidy.Gave us good information about the town and Resturants. Also help us with a shuttle service to the airport the next day.. We were in the outside room. The berries were the only thing that was annoying.Dropping on the deck and the roof during the night. Best regards Bert Tuhi 0824915651

We loved this guesthouse! We loved room 7 large bedroom and beautiful bathroom. Breakfast was excellent. Staff friendly from first meeting and very helpful. We left our car there and went on the vinehopper trip. We were celebrating our anniversary and our hosts made us feel very special. Do go don't hesitate. Wifi was good as well!!

Nice place, nice breakfast. The pool is more of an ornament as it was always in shade. We were in one of the upstairs rooms which had no shower just a shower head in the bath. Good location for shops and restaurants only 5 min walk.

Had to make a last minute trip to Stellenbosch and what a little gem I found. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. I ordered a packed breakfast and was surprised as to what I received. The accommodation was very fitting and the bed very comfortable. I will definitely make use of the facility on future visits to the Cape.

close to everything that moves in stellenbosch. we could walk safely everywhere from the guesthouse, to restaurants, shops, church. We were even moved to a quieter room when the one we were given was too noisy.

yes we are well situated , walking distance from everything. We are glad that we could move you to a quieter room, as sometimes the traffic is hectic in Stellenbosch More

Loved this guesthouse with its special ambiance, antique exterior and interior, friendly staff and white linen. Room I had was a bit small (in the roof) but I did see larger rooms in the house. Ideally located near CBD of beautiful Stellenbosch.
