It was our first time at this establishment and we stayed just one night. Check in was more than easy and our room was leading into the wonderful garden. Stayed here for 3 nights during our honeymoon - oh my God, what an amazing place! The decor is just gorgeous -so stylish without trying too hard (the owner is apparently an interior design and an antiques dealer so you can imagine their taste is impeccable). We had a great stay here in July. The wine tour suggested by the owner was great as well. Beautiful rooms. Good cheese platters for supper if you've had too much wine during the day! Garden looked pretty but the weather was quite bad so we didn't really see it. Only downside was gas fire running out of gas. more

I have just come back from my wedding at Hawksmoor House. We chose it because of the stunning house and grounds and the wonderfully attentive staff. My husband and I stayed here for our last night in South Africa earlier this week. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!
