The rooms are very small, but come with a little fridge that is handy. We got the art room, it is very vibrant and colorful, the room red and bathroom lime green. This however makes it very hard to apply make up as I found out, because I had to get ready for a wedding reception there, with very little natural... More

We arrived a little later than expected after a late flight, Lisa had waited behind for us without any contact from us (as we were mid air at the time so couldn't let her know). She was very friendly and informative even after the inconvenience caused. The room was fairly small but it was very sweet, we are a young(ish)... More

In one sense, I should be giving a really positive review, as we arrived, realised this so wasn't for us, left within the hour, and received a full refund of our deposit. For that we are most grateful. However, it seems useful to say why it wasn't for us to help others make informed decisions. This is a three star... More

We just stayed at The Beautiful South with our two small kids and my parents, and all of us enjoyed it very much. Peter was a very amenable host, who gladly swapped rooms for my parents. Our family suite was great and the breakfasts were very nice every day. The regular rooms are not large (hence my parents moving) but... More

We stayed at this guest house a return visitors for four nights and enjoyed both the tranquil setting and the proximity to Stellenbosch "downtown", which is an easy walk through the University Campus away. The room was clean with direct access to the pool area, the small garden is a little paradise to spend some time reading or relaxing before... More

A lovely B&B.. We only stayed for two nights as we wanted to sample the wine lands on our way up to Knysna.. we stayed in room 4 which was lacking space and we did feel we were tripping over each other. If we were staying for any longer it may have become a problem but for two nights it... More

A really friendly place to stay in Stellenbosch .The majority of rooms are of African décor, well decorated and lush comfy beds and pillows. A good breakfast is available each day a different special for breakfast. The guest house also has a pool. The owners are Swedish but are really knowledgeable about the area. We stayed overnight and went to... More

I stayed here one or two nights with my dad. Location is pretty good with centre of town in walking distance. The rooms were little disappointing , but this might be related to price level. I stayed in more expensive places on other days of my trip. Pool area looked nice but we were there in off season so did... More

We were in the area for only two nights but Peter was absolutely superb in ensuring that our short stay was the best it could be. He sorted out tickets and taxi to Amazinc (great show) and sorted a wine tour with hardly any notice - nothing was too much trouble. The Art Room was fun - small, but comfortable... More

The premise is amazing an laid back! 10 min walk to the city centre. The host is totally friendly and gave us many advices on what to do and where to eat out. Breakfast was nice, the rooms spacious and clean and the pool was fairly big. Overall a great place to stay, highly recommended.
