We stayed for one night at Simonsberg Guesthouse. We had a really nice stay, the owner are super nice, and you can note that every detail is very well taken cared of. The breakfast was really good, and the rooms are spacious and confortable. It's a really good option when travelling on a small budget to Stellenbosh. It's a bit... More

Elize is a fantastic hostess.Stayed there on two different occasions and will definitely be staying there again. The addition of the splash pool and barbecue area were great finishing touches. Can't ask for more.

We have spent a lot of time planning our trip to South Africa and Stellenbosch, and found this Bed and Breakfast Simonsberg Guest House through Trip Advisor. I trust Trip Advisor totally and this was a great find! Elize has been a pleasure to deal with, even offering to drive us to a local restaurant for dinner and picking us... More

I have traveled most part of the world, but this was definitely the first that has excellent services oriented to guest needs. In short am yet to find such wonderful people like Lizzie and Tommy. so homely and friendly.

Stayed for two nights and had a lovely stay. Elize was amazing! One of the friendliest people I have ever met. Very nice rooms and showers, everything very clean and well organized, with a calm atmosphere. Is a bit out of town but feels very safe and Elize will bring you in and out of town as needed (for a... My stay was peaceful and the staff were friendly, but with a calm demeanor that puts you at ease. The lodge itself was neat, the facilities were all in perfect condition and you do really feel like a VIP. it is about a 10 minute drive away from town centre, but you rarely need to go into town, because your... Simonsberg Guesthouse is truly like a home away from home. I’ve stayed here multiple times while traveling for work, as well as while on vacation. The owner, Elize, is one of the loveliest people I have ever met in my years of travel. She’s kind, caring, and goes out of her way to make sure that you are well taken... More

Stayed here for 3nights in Nov n have to say we were made most welcome. The family are lovely people and although based a little out of the way from stellenbosh itself its a good place to be. It is in the area of Cloetsville which is near a township but we felt very safe. Breakfasts were lovely. Although not... More
