We were so disappointed with this place. We will not recommend it to friends, it is far too expensive and for us it is not a 4 stars accommodation. The food it below the average and as expensive as food restaurants. We received no hospitality from the owners and luckily the "trainee" and Georges were nice. more

We have stayed twice now at Rozendal and love it. After a week In Namibia and few days in Camps Bay, we couldn't wait to get back to Rozendal. Its a quiet beautiful spot in an outstandingly beautiful part of the world. the food is simple but excellent, the hotel is very comfortable and Joerg Karin and Joseph are excellent... more

Auberge Rozendal is situated at the end of an ordinary suburban street but once through the gates it appears that you are in the country. Joerge and Karen are the hosts and make you feel very welcome and ensure that their staff look after you very well. The food and drinks were of excellent quality and used organically home grown... more

I am from Germany and stayed there for a couple of weeks alone and returned afterwards with my husband to show him this wonderful place. We both can't wait to return and relax at the stunning pool area. From the room/patio we had a stunning view. We enjoyed the organic food, sitting in the romantic garden and greeting two owls... more

Deep in the heart of the South African wine country is an authentic country "Guest House" named Auberge Rozendal. Built in the mid 1800's, it reminds one of a long past, gracious and relaxing era, however, a forward thinking traveler is right at home. The property is located on a working winery and produces its own label as well as... more

Rozendal is one of the most relaxing and charming venues we have visited. Joerg and Karen are amazing people and welcome you into their home and hearts with such warmth. The decor is superb and we love all the artworks. There are also many interesting items that you can purchase as a reminder of your stay. The food and wine... more

We were really disappointed with the Auberge Rozendal and the diner and we think that this place doesn't deserve 4 stars. 1 - We sleept in the house which is really noisy and we were awake at 5am due to noises of the boiler / water. 2 - The diner was "eatable" but much more too expensive for what we... more

My wife and I stayed 2 nights at Auberge Rozendal on the outskirts of Stellenbosch and near wineries. A walk in the vineyards with a view overlooking the town and Capetown's Table Mountain, and guinea fowl playing in our back yard were special. The large rooms were nicely furnished with a private patio. Breakfast on the patio of the historic... more
