There are various options to choose from for accommodation. We stayed in the Tented Lodges - Family Tents(of which there is only two). This was our kids first introduction to camping/roughing it, although you can hardly call this roughing it. The tents are well accommodated and does have a toilet, shower and basins. It also got a very good double... More

We stayed in the Canopy Cottage for 4 nights. There is a wooden deck all the way to the cottage and once you get to the cottage you are completely surrounded by indigenous trees. The lower level has a fire place and two large glass doors opening up unto a huge deck where you can eat or have a braai... More

We stayed at Homtini on Honeymoon. It was truly a good choice for this occasion. The farm is situated on the edge of a secluded, densely wooded valley. The various cabins and tented lodges are situated with enough space and forest between them to give the impression that you are the only people there! We stayed in one of the... More

This is a definite DO NOT MISS!! My boyfriend and I stayed in the couples tent and to wake up to that view every morning was such a pleasure. It was totally private and we felt like we were the only two people on earth! All we had to take was our own food as EVERYTHING else is supplied which... More

Wow. What a place. We stayed in the safari tent with the most amazing view over a huge tree covered valley. Stunning when its sunny or when there's a big storm! Jeremy and his wife have thought of all the little touches - pint of milk in your fridge on arrival, amazing BBQ on the 'porch', every kitchen utensil you... More

We had a lovely holiday. The owners were welcoming, conservation minded, dog and birder friendly. The accommodation was pleasant, with a good kitchen, and the fresh milk was a bonus. They went to great trouble to find us a church, and gave excellent information on the area, including places of historical interest. The best was sitting on the deck, with... More

Well this is a 20 min drive from Knysna but totally worth it. Very well equipped chalets with a fantastic shaded deck and amazing view. Wonderfult to sit and watch the wildlife with a secluded and relaxing atmosphere. As Knysna is fantastic for local produce it is a real advantage to self-cater. My 5 year old thought it was the... Wow what can I say! Perfect, we spend a few days at Homtini during our honeymoon and my husband can’t stop talking about it. It is beautiful and even more perfect when it rains. Just being there you feel relaxed. Truly miss being there.

We stayed in one of the two "couples" safari tents. These feel very secluded with their own paths to them and have the most amazing views looking out over the mountains and forest. It is a view that you will never want to leave, I didn't want to go! The hospitality and welcome at the farm is brilliant and Margreta... More

My husband and I stayed here in November 2009 and we both could not stop raving about the location and overall experience. Homtini is a little way out of Knysna but well worth the trip as you are able to get away from the business of Knysna itself yet is close enough to drive to. When you arrive at Homtini... More
