We stayed for 1 night at Augusta while on the wellington wine walk. The staff were all lovely & so interesting. The food was delicious & the rooms beautiful, if a little cold. However, I believe it was an unusually cold snap. I would have liked more time to spend exploring the farm.

Lovely homely accommodation with all the staff giving you unparalleled attention and service. Peaceful setting with little feel of commercialisation - what a pleasure in this day and age! (Even down to the rooms not having huge ugly TV screens on the walls - instead of being glued to the TV you can take time to take in the details... More

The best accommodation I've ever stayed at - and I often go on business trips. Hospitality, highly functioning reception and staff, amidst floods - will never be forgotten. I was moved to another room when there was a crisis (end August 2013). My personal belongings were transferred in my absence. NO problem whatsoever. No arrangement or assistance was too much... More

Not recommended for business clients. Key problems when booking in and confusion about which room is mine, was not a good start. No hot water, later found out that they have forgotten to switch on the geyser. Warning was extended to me to keep alll valuables on me, as guests are being watched by drug (money) searching people from nearby... More

Dear Future Guests 1. There was confusion with the keys, since we had a storm, and the designated room for our guest was flooded. 2. There was hot water, our guest did not know that the knob works the other way around. 3. She only informed us about the "cold" water upon departure and did not give us the opportunity... More

We loved the Augusta Kleinbosch lodge - we stayed for 2 nights in December and wished we had stayed for longer as it was so beautiful and relaxing. The start was stressful as our flight was delayed by four hours meaning we were arriving late in the dark. Thank goodness the signs once we got off the N2 were good... More

Our second stay at Augusta Kleinbosch confirmed what we first thought in 2011. The location is beautiful, peaceful and calming. The rooms are clean, spacious and tastefully furnished. We had spent 3 weeks in the hustle and bustle of Cape Town, and to escape to Augusta Kleinbosch, especially on New Years Eve (or Old Years Day !) was just what... More

My husband and our two boys aged 3 and 7 have just got back from a weekend here. What a fantastic place. The staff were very friendly, the accommodation clean and the food served of a very high standard. My boys had a wonderful time outdoors experiencing guavas for the first time. We all enjoyed the service we received and... More

We found this gem in Paarl on the internet which is always risky. So we were quite anxious to see it ! What we found is a genuinely family-friendly but stylish and well equipped accommodation ! When we arrived our three year old was asleep in the car, and the manageress immediately got him a blanket and showed us his... More

The best place to be in the Paarl region. You really feel as a personnel guest. Very, very large rooms, the numbers 1 and 3 with a big fireplace, including fire wood; pool with shady places under mango trees, excellent and economically priced kitchen; a small creek flowing through the garden and big old oak and other trees in the...
