A warm sherry welcome by Francois, delicious meal in the restaurant, interesting stories and history told by Francois, friendly staff, comfortable well-appointed rooms, and a lovely breakfast - all this in the most beautiful surroundings of Kleinbosch Guest Farm. My husband and I stayed in the "Hen House" - watched over by chickens and surprise of all - an egg... More

This is an amazing place to stay. Warmest welcome ever. Amazing staff incredible history. Part of South Africa's history. You will be sleeping in buildings from 1700's. Highly recommended amazing scenery and food to rave about. Will come back for a holiday.

I surprised my husband with an overnight stay at Augusta Kleinbosch, and we simply loved it! The room that we slept in (Malherbe) was super clean and spacious. The farm is well looked after and so peaceful. TV's are definitely not missed in the wonderful surroundings and tranquility that the GH provides. Francois was very helpful and friendly - helping... We spent New Years Eve on Augusta Kleinbosch Guest Farm in Paarl, near Stellenbosch (WESTERN CAPE) and had the most beautiful time there. The food and wine and cider were excellent. We had the Honeymoon Suite and this was the absolute best what we had on our South Africa Tour. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was more then... More

Dear Couple The Honeymoon Suite is also one of my favourite's! Especially in Winter, when you can sit at the fireplace. We are looking forward to welcoming you back! More

We stayed for tw0 nights at Augusta and we were delighted. The farm is located a little bit (10 minutes) outside of Paarl but easy to find with a map/gps. It is located between the mountains an the scenery is simply breathtaking. The farm itself, with its old, traditional buildings and the well maintained garden made us feel at home... More

I recently completed the Wellington Wine Walk and this spot was one of our overnight stops. I slept in the old school room - the entire place was steeped in history and atmosphere. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and no request was too much. Dinner was served in a cosy dining room and the... More

I loved this place. We were very warmly welcomed after our first day on the walk and it was like an oasis. Our room was huge, beautifully furnished and clean and I wished that we were there for more than just one night. The meal they served was delicious and I would recommend this place to anyone. By far my... More

This guest farm is ideal for guests with a sense of atmosphere and history. Kleinbosch was the place where Afrikaans first began to be formalized as a written and printed language; and the place has wonderful established trees and plantings, with a crystal clear stream running through the middle. We and our friends had a good stay here, and enjoyed... More

We stayed for 1 night at Augusta while on the wellington wine walk. The staff were all lovely & so interesting. The food was delicious & the rooms beautiful, if a little cold. However, I believe it was an unusually cold snap. I would have liked more time to spend exploring the farm.

Lovely homely accommodation with all the staff giving you unparalleled attention and service. Peaceful setting with little feel of commercialisation - what a pleasure in this day and age! (Even down to the rooms not having huge ugly TV screens on the walls - instead of being glued to the TV you can take time to take in the details... More
