I have been to Babylonstoren many times - I have done the garden tour twice; I've done the espalier workshop; I've eaten at the Conservatory many times; I've wandered around on my own with a delicious lolly in hand; I've lazed under the oak trees; I've picked my own asparagus shoot; I've spoken in tongues out of sheer delight at... This 'destination experience' (its much more than a hotel) is completely visionary and a legacy in the making. Accommodations excellent- we stayed in a gorgeous cottage which is truly comfortable- almost indulgent but with a sense of simplicity. However, what makes Babylonstoren really special is the complete style of the place....everything is a picture designed to bring a smile, calm... More

My husband and I stayed in a charming cottage at Babylonstoren for nights in August, 2014. We were delighted with our surroundings - from the cottage to the gardens. The cottages are well designed with a lot of attention to detail. There is a lovely wooden box full of bounty from the gardens to welcome you. I was surprised by... More

Amazing place, very comfortable rooms, nice food most of it home grown, stunning gardens. The garden tour is amazing and a must when you stay there. However, You can skip the wine tour for the time being, nothing special, better in a larger estate, plenty around.

There is nothing you could get wrong in Babylonstoren. The cottage is just a wonderful place that you don't even want to leave. The two restaurants offer you quality food fresh from the garden. The wine are good and surprising. The services are impeccable. The staff is really helpful and passionate by the magnificent estate they work in. Beside, you... More

I took my husband for his birthday in June, the service was fantastic. We had a coffee in the library by the fire as we were a little early. The cottage room was amazing, the fire was li in the living room, complementary wine, a Nespresso machine and a box of fruit from the garden in the kitchen and a... More

From the moment we arrived we felt surrounded by the beauty of the mountains, vineyards and orchards as well as by the caring, authentic five star service offered by the staff. The beautifully renovated farmers cottages/chalets were bright and white and very comfortable. Diner at Babel, one of the restaurants, is a visual and sensory delight for the tastebuds. Wandering... Accommodations We stayed in the two-bedroom cottage...It was delightful. Large, spacious and beautifully appointed, we had our own living room and glass-enclosed kitchen stocked with wine... More

They have spared no expense. The rooms are modern and chic. The ground are beyond beautiful. In the rooms, they have simply thought of everything. It is really a beautiful blend of modern architecture and farms style cottages – visual beauty. However – However – the staff were not the friendliest or the most humble. We had no water in... More
