My wife and I stayed at this hotel for one night while touring the area. The reception staff was welcoming, and the room was pleasant, clean, and quiet. There are a number of restaurants in the immediate area and it is pleasant and safe to stroll.

We stayed here on the way back to Jo'burg. The rooms are basic and nothing special. Not properly cleaned. There were 4 of us in a room, but only 1 tea bag. The Protea hotel down the road was advertising a cheaper rate and they have much better rooms.

We checked in on the 31st December and booked 5 rooms for a 3 night stay. We were warmly welcomed by Jackie and she introduced me to the manager of the restaurant but basically the good service stopped there. Feedback on the experience: • The evening of the 31st we were told that crockery and table will be available, but... More

We stayed one night whilst passing through Oudtshoorn. Very friendly staff, big comfortable rooms but very basic. It was fine for just the night but wouldn't stay there longer. Reminded us of the old holiday inn hotels that we used to love.

We stayed on December 6, 2015 at the Oudtshoorn Inn. It is an old dated hotel, which really should not have the name hotel. The first room we were given, there was to run an air conditioner but the room temperature was higher than the outside temperature (38gr). The next room we got was a little cooler, but the air... The room is nice, but bathroom is old. Grounds are not being maintaned daily. Breakfast was poor. ran out of certain foods, did not have the basics such as tamatoe sauce, mayonaise, no ice either. Lift is old. Son got transported in the lift without pressing anything. Reception is friendly. Asked for towels for the pool, was told it would... More

Well located easy to find hotel with very standard offering. Friendly and helpful staff at reception. Rooms are neat and tidy with basic items. Bathroom is equiped with bathtub and shower combo but beware of the horrible shower curtains that attack while showering! Wonderful restaurant with reasonably priced meals inside. Pool clean but with too few loungers available for guests.

This hotel need a bit of attention. The rooms are not too bad. The bar is only open at certain times. The food in the restaurant is also average. This hotel can be good with a good refurbishment. Well situated.

As a group of students you expect that people treat you with the best of care, this was the total opposite at this hotel. We stayed there the weekend of August and I remember how my birthday weekend turned out to be the worst possible experience of my life. The hotel is more of a motel than a hotel and... More
