This guesthouse is run by Phil, who is very welcoming and was extremely helpful in sgggesting and booking supper reservations for us. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The location by the old suspension bridge is lovely, and the pool looked very inviting! Breakfast was delicious (mostly locally produced goods). And the coffee was excellent!

Great location - quiet but close to town centre and amenities. Very friendly owners with a lot of good advice for tourist types. Had a great time in a comfortable bed and spacious room. Large breakfast is compulsory!

Our stay at Gumtree was wonderful and relaxing. The garden setting was beautiful with a refreshing flowing river. The dining room was very neat and the breakfast prepared by Phil was delicious. Our hosts really welcomed us and made us feel at home. Thank you Phil and Linda.

We were welcomed very kindly. Everything was effected very effectively and well prepared. We consider the place as very suitable and well established for trips around Outshoorn and can really recommend this guesthouse. Further we got good recommendations for tours and hotels.
