We made reservations and then experienced a death in the family and had to cancel the initial booking dates. Brenda accommodated the changes and we were able to reschedule to the following week, without no fuss or loss of deposit. Once there, we found ourselves surrounded by caring and accommodating hosts. Our stay here was only for one night but wished we had stayed for longer. I had broken my foot prior to our arrival, and on noticing this Brenda offered me a single room on the ground floor. (My wife using the pre booked room on the first floor) The ameneties were first class and the outlook over the lagoon... more

Given the circumstances surrounding our visit - the owners were doing routine maintenance, we however were not disturbed by this in the slightest. Knysna Manor House is large, beautiful, comfortable and accessible to all places of interest. Our hosts went out of their way to ensure our comfort and ensured that our stay was memorable. This guest house offers excellent value for money and was recommended to me by the Knysna Tourism Office. It is well located close to Knysna CBD and restaurants. My room was well appointed, spacious and had a lovely view over Knysna. The owners Brenda and Anthony were friendly and very helpful. I will definitely return to this guest house. more

We had an overnight stay at this B&B - I'll just summarize, what we liked about it: good room rates, place was nice and clean and not too close to the main road (thus not noisy as some other places we checked out before), secure parking behind the house, free wireless internet and a goof breakfast. - Good Value for money accomodation - Good breakfast full breakfast offered - Within easy walking distance of all that Knysna has to offer - Great safe parking - Good shower - Good DSTV and wireless internet on offer - Good relaxing vibe in the house or in your own room more

We stayed two nights in this guest house it is centrally located and within easy walk of the town and waterfront. We had a very comfortable large room and the breakfast was very good. We recieved warn welcome and lots of advice about what to do in the area. Ireland more
