We had a great nights stay at Inyathi Lodge. The hosts were very accommodating, especially on the short notice we had booked. The room we stayed in was spacious and very characterful, even though the establishment is on the main road, the wooden build made it feel like a log cabin in the forest. This is a great place to stay... More

Found this place while driving around Knysna looking for accommodation as this was one of the nights we hadn't pre-booked. The "Luxury Accommodation" on the sign had us worried we might be paying a bit more than at most of our previous B&Bs - at R375 per person however those worries were unjustified. A good wifi connection was also available.... More

We always like to stay at Inyathi while in Knysna. We love the African Style of this place and many of our activities we can do by foot so there is no need to use the car. Maybe we come back next year.

Really enjoyed staying at Inyathi guest house. It was a very neat little place, and the fact that it was just off of the highway did not really bug us with too much noise at all. Had a good braai the evening, and the breakfast was pretty good the next morning as well. It might not be everyone's cup of... More

Inyathi is interesting and central and I think good value esp with breakfast but be aware it is ON the N2. I booked a large double 6 months in advanced and requested a quiet room if possible. I was put in Number 11 and have never been in such a loud room 11 is the closest to the road and... More

With really knowledgeable owners and staff and the jungle style rooms Inyathi is a fun place to stay. You really do feel like you're on the edge of a jungle, but step out and cross the road and you're straight into the town. The room was well set out, comfortable, quirky and individual, I've not really stayed anywhere quite like... More

Very enjoyable weekend stop over. Centrally located and walking distance to excellent restaurants and malls. Owners very friendly and accommodating. Room was comfy although shower was a little small. Quaint layout in tropical surrounds.

Location in Knysna doesn't matter, as its a very small city/town and everything is nearby. Owners are nice and sweet. Didn't face any problems as such during my stay But they can defi make this hotel/lodge much much better by giving little attention to detail in the rooms like adding a few design elements in the room which is really... The Inyathi houses look very different than other houses, and when you enter the place it feels like you are at a totally different place. The houses are made of dark wood and between them is a small jungle with all kinds of plants. We had quite a small house which was a bit dark, but the bathroom was great... More
