Location in Knysna doesn't matter, as its a very small city/town and everything is nearby. Owners are nice and sweet. Didn't face any problems as such during my stay But they can defi make this hotel/lodge much much better by giving little attention to detail in the rooms like adding a few design elements in the room which is really... The Inyathi houses look very different than other houses, and when you enter the place it feels like you are at a totally different place. The houses are made of dark wood and between them is a small jungle with all kinds of plants. We had quite a small house which was a bit dark, but the bathroom was great... More

Loved it there! Our hosts, Riaan and Helen, were extremely helpful and friendly at all times. Breakfasts are delicious! The rooms are lovely, clean and cosy. Helen and her husband were very helpful - booked restaurants for us, offered to fetch us etc. We are definitely coming back!

This was a fun place to staty. Although the chalet cabin was small, it had all the required facilities. The 'mezzanine' level shower and bathroom was a challenge for two oldies, however it blended with the 'African' theme. Rhian's special hoit breakfast was great. We wanted to visit the Judah Square village and Rhian took the time to guide us... More

This place is spot on! Only a ten minute walk to The Waterfront, right in the middle of town. Great hosts, good breakfast, secure parking and good value for money. There is loads to do in and around Knysna and we spent four great days there in late Jan 2015. Highly recommended

Thank Steve, We appreciate you taking the time to review us, and you hit the nail on the head, on what we offer here at Inyathi. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your holidays here in SA, and that the sun is shining wherever you are. regards Helen and Riaan Louw More

This guest lodge was a gem; an oasis in the middle of the little town of Knysna. The B & B was a former craft village that had been transformed into a lovely group of individual dwellings. Great care has also been paid to the beautiful indigenous foliage surrounding the entire compound. The delicious, made-to-order breakfast was a welcome start... More

I stayed there for 1 night with my mother who came to South Africa for the first time: my only regret was that I hadn't known about this guest lodge before, otherwise I would have extended our stay. Lush, green, secluded little wooden chalets, even a banana tree! The host were very friendly, kind and made a lovely generous breakfast.... More

We found the Inyathi Guest House to be a wonderful spot for a stopover. The jungle decor was charming, the host very friendly and helpful. His recommendation for eating were very accurate (shame he wouldn't share his bobotie pie recipe with us....top secret!)

A really cute cluster of individual garden houses. They had everything you need and were very comfortable. The owners are fun and sociable, always up for a chat and possibly even a drink in the evening in their beautiful gardens. A really good experience.
