Inyathi was everything I expected and more. It is small wooden lodges with lush foliage giving the impression you are staying in a rain forest! The lodges are small but comfortable and more than adequate. The shower is lovely and our lodge had a small very secluded balcony leading from patio doors which was a delight. The couple running the... More

Comfortable, convenient, good breakfast. I'd stay there again. The owners are friendly and helpful. I did however, find the WiFi connection, which was free of charge, a little unreliable. But who goes to Knysna for WiFi anyway?

First visited Inyathi Lodge two years ago and it is still a great place to stay. Helen and Riann were away when we arrived but Ina looked after us well, ensuring that we had a large room which was needed to accommodate all our luggage - many thanks. It was good being able to see Helen and Riann again and... More

Stayed here just for one night last week. The place looks wonderful in the pictures and is as it appears. the rooms are all small huts weaved into a really charming garden. Its is however on a main road, between two petrol stations, however this doesn't detract from the delight in sitting in this garden, there is no noise problem... More

Really enjoyed our short stay. For a budget place to stay the rooms were great; little wooden lodges/ cabins full of character. The breakfast was good too and the owners/ staff were very friendly with lots of tips on where to eat and what to see.

My fiance and I were travelling from Cape Town to Durban. We stayed at Inyathi and they were incredibly helpful. They did everything and more to make us feel welcome and at home. Really went out of their way. Lovely place! Best bacon EVER!!!

Inyathy Guest Lodge is surprisingly nice for travellers who do not like the formality of hotels or the noise of a backpackers lodge. Inyathy Guest Lodge is - in our opinion - the best choice to stay in Knysna.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Inyathi Guest Lodge. We enjoyed the convenience of being able to walk to where we wanted to go (Waterfront is less than 10 min away) and the close proximity to so many restaurants and shops. Not only were the owners extremely accomodating and friendly, they are also very knowledgeable on things to do and... More
