Very central location with nice wooden chalets. Nicely decorated rooms, friendly staff and adequate breakfast. The rooms are tiny but nice, the atmosphere is fantastic and an added bonus is discount vouchers given by reception for activities around Knysna.

This was such an unexpected surprise as we felt as though we were in the forest not on the edge of town! The rooms are like a set from out of Africa and the hospitality was the best we have experienced!

This is a totally creative place. Wonderful if you are looking for someplace unique, but don't go here if you expect a very standard sort of room. Proprietors are really interesting. Our room / cottage was tiny, but well appointed. We could have upgraded to a bigger one, but we liked the atmosphere so well, we kept it. Breakfast very... More

We had a great stay at this centrally located lodge, the rooms are cosy and the front desk is extremely helpful with activities in the area. We would definitely stay there again when visiting Knysna. It was fantastic!

On our way to Jeffreys Bay we stayed over at the Inyathi Guest lodge. We got a room on short notice, they have an excellent bar and very friendly staff. I even got a muffin with a candle in it for my birthday. I would stay here again any day of the year. Really worth it and at an affordable... More

We found the accommodations to be less than advertised. The room was extremely cramped, definitely not sufficient space for two. They did not have DSTV and the 3 free channels had such appalling reception they were unwatchable. The bathroom door did not close properly and the room was way too cold. Not the best experience, we would not return.

Dear Marg E, Firstly we’d like to thank you for your comments, as we find one of the best ways we can improve Inyathi is by receiving constructive criticisms from genuine guests. So we do value all feedback, and act on it, where appropriate. But we are disappointed that you didn’t seem to enjoy your stay with us, and since... More

These log cabins were great value for money, and a unique stay. We had a spacious room with tv/sofa area. The shower is small but fine. I didn't like the toilet being separate from the shower area but this is just a personal preference. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly and will give you lots of information about the... More

My boyfriend and i stayed in Inyathi for 3 nights in April. It was so different, a hidden gem! Though right on the main road you would think you were in the middle of a jungle, not noisy at all. Our room was spotless and the breakfasts were so yummy. Not only that but the hosts are fantastic and gave... More
