I've booked a room at the Nature's Valley Guest house last year and then I had to cancel the booking. Pat replied in her email that she will pay me back my deposit of R 550. I've emailed her several times and it's now 8 months later and I still haven't received my deposit back.

We spent one night there in February 2014. As it was very hot, we were surprised that there was no air-conditioning. There was only one electric fan but it was in another room. We were advised to leave the windows open. In the night I had difficulty breathing and thought there was a musty smell around me. I started sniffing... More

Our family stayed here early January - with all our different needs, we felt like everything we wanted was accommodated at various times (early cyclists needing breakfast before anyone is up, lazy teenagers needing breakfast before noon, etc.) We had a very happy relaxed time - and wow is the place spectacular - an unspoilt wilderness in this world is... We stayed at Nature's Valley Guest House during December 2013 holiday. This is a perfect holiday guest house. Loads of space, beautiful garden, close to everything... the lagoon, the beach, cycling, running, and walking paths are all in close proximity. The owners are helpful and friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us during our stay. They have... More

A real hidden gem ... great location for birds, walks and generally relaxing and well off the main route which I feel is part of its charm. A traditional Cape thatch set with an interesting garden for visiting Lourie, too. Will return for a longer stay.

Four of us stayed overnight at this pleasant and well-run establishment in the incredibly tranquil and gentle Nature's Valley on the Garden Route. We spent a night here before setting off on the five-day Otter Trail. The owners' son drove us to the starting point of the Trail, with our backpacks in a trailer. He was friendly and helpful. The... Pat B, Owner at Nature's Valley Guest House, responded to this review

Ian and Pat Bond, owner/managers’ sincerely apologise for not being able to personally welcome Gayner and her husband to Natures Valley Guest House. It was a rainy, windy weekend when our son Daniel took them up the wooden stairs to their thatched roofed room, which is surrounded by a thick hedge of trees; the windows have blinds, which were up... My boyfriend and I completed the 5 day Otter trail hike and had a fabulous time, scenery beautiful and highly recommended. We were hiking with a group of 11 people and there was a group booking at Natures Valley for the night we came off the hike. We walked into Natures Valley and spent over an hour walking around town... More

Myself and my hiking group stayed at this guesthouse after our 5day Hike. The guesthouse is well equipped, comfortable and had lots of rooms for us all. And after the 5day hike, this was exactly what we wanted. We did however hit a snag when it came to sleeping time. Sorry to say the bedding was not very clean. i.e... More
