I stayed here with my parents for one night on our trip down the garden route. The accommodations were lovely, 'Granny' and the rest of the staff were welcoming and helpful, and made us feel very much at home. The gardens outside the rooms were exotic and tropical - very cool. The only concern was that my older parents had... More

We stayed here in November 2014 and were thrilled with the unique setting of this amazing little gem. Our room was beautifully designed and very comfortable as well as spacious and light. The staff were very helpful and friendly and made aure we had a great stay. The grounds are very cleverly arranged and planted and you feel that you... More

Really an extraordinary place to stay. The wonderful botanical garden, the small houses and all over nice things to discover. Unfortunately we were staying only one night. but the next time we will stay longer, that's for sure. The service was also exzellent: a taxi brought us to the Knysna Main city and back for free because the inhouse restaurant... More

Beautifully decorated and creative rooms and gardens made this a very special stay. We slept well & loved the terrace to sit out & enjoy the amazing gardens. Unfortunately the chef could not accommodate last minute evening meals - so do book ahead if you can. Breakfast was OK and some staff could have been more engaging ... and the... More

Great well located guesthouse that's makes you feel like you are in the jungle minus the big insects. The owners make you feel very welcome and offer good tips in terms of day trips etc. The rooms are big with All you need. I would definitely recommend you stay here.

We spent two nights here which just wasn't long enough. Set in a lush, jungle like garden, the 'cabins' are very comfortable and well equipped. We were lucky enough to have one with a private pool. The owners and staff were very welcoming and friendly and made us feel at home at once. Granny was fabulous and kept us well... More

Let me start by agreeing with other reviewers that the grounds are beautiful and the staff very helpful, athough in the case of Granny, also difficult to get rid of. Quirkiness though, does not a great stay make... Let's start with the beginning: Parking is awkward, the paths to the rooms / cottages area difficult to manage whith luggage, although... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night of our honeymoon & were very well looked after by the friendly team. All of the lodges are located off of decked walks and surrounded by little gardens and water features. Our lodge even had it's very own private pool! There was a power cut in Knysna on the night we... More

A comfortable and out of the ordinary B&B. Our room was clean and comfortable, while the whole property is a little like walking into the Jungle Book. Wonderful tropical plants, birds, streams and ponds with a boardwalk meandering through it all. Our hostess was friendly and served a tasty breakfast. We'd stay here again.
