Expected 3 star accommodation, but got none. The place needs serious maintenance, but even just proper housekeeping would suffice. We had to clear out a couple of cobwebs while settling in and open windows to let some fresh air in. Then we found there was no hot water, so we had to use another unit's shower. The staff is friendly... More

The hotel is in a lovely setting but I see why the hotel has no more stars. The pictures on the website are far from what the actual place looks like. The place is old and needs a huge upgrade. It is really disappointing when you find a place online with some good pictures of the venue but it is... More

I sourced this property from the internet, and after having booked places via the internet and on other people's recommendations, was a little weary, as I have had some really bad experiences. I emailed for a quote, got a response the same day and booked and paid. We stayed for 2 nights at this super lodge. Myself and my guests... More

We found the venue on the internet. We found the rooms to be filthy and in need of a good scrub. layers of dust lay under the beds. The bedrooms and bathrooms should have been renovated a long time ago. This is most definately not a 4 star hotel. The owners are friendly but really seem to have little experience... More

We stayed at the madiba's hotel and we didnt like it at all!!! The hotel is old, smelly and really not a 4 star hotel. The owenrs, however , were very nice and helpful. If you are looking for a nice hotel that looks like a 4 star this is not the place - if you are looking for a... More

We had booked this hotel on line before our trip but when we arrived were hugely disappointed when shown our room. The actual hotel is in a lovely setting and has so much potential. Our room was large with a separate lounge area as well as bedroom and bathroom but the whole place was in need of updating. The decor... More

I just returned from a trip to South Africa where I stayed at the most beautiful country hotel. The views were magnificent, I wished I could paint. The staff were very efficient and friendly and nothing was asking too much. The rooms are really spacious, with some private suits for families also. It is ideally located on the garden route and...
