Everything about the Elephant Park is amazing. The staff are brilliant, the location is stunning, accommodation spotless and comfortable - not to mention the fascinating stars of the show - the elephants. The experience of staying in the lodge is one not to be missed because you can visit the elephants' sleeping quarters as often as you like at night... More

Had the pleasure of staying here for 3 nights. The room was modern and lovely and you must stay in room 1 as we had 3 windows looking down directly where the elephants sleep at night in the boma. (even our bathroom) There is also a beautiful communal lounge where you can go and see them sleeping at night, (coffee... More

Stayed 2 nights. The idea of this Lodge is to experience the elephants and I can't imagine it being better anywhere else. Being able to watch the elephants from the lounge that is a few meters from the elephants is awesome, watch all night if you like. The life and care given to these huge animals is 5 star therefore... After entering hundreds of competitions I eventually won a 2 night stay at the KEP in conjunction with Getaway magazine which we used in March 2011. We were welcomed by some lovely staff and shown our room which was right next door to the elephants boma. Hmm, interesting, we thought, what goes on here? We were quite early and had... More

We stayed here for one night in a twin room. We phoned ahead and at first were quoted prices I think for the deluxe suites, which initially put us off as we were only staying one night and on a bit of a budget. We went though to have a look and one of the staff showed us the rooms.... More

A wonderful place, everything was first rate. The staff were incredible, they could not do enough for us, our guide Mac gave us and our children an incredible insight into these wonderful animals and was a credit to the park. The location was excellent and most importantly the welfare of the elephants was paramount. In short if you are going... More

We stayed here for a night with our young children. As with all animal attractions, we weren't sure what to expect. Any apprehensions we had were completely dispelled; KEP is a slick operation and the health and welfare of the elephants is clearly the its primary purpose. It was truly amazing to have such free access to elephants without feeling... More

We live in Wittedrift just outside of Plettenberg Bay, we got married at the Knysna Elephant Park in August 2009 and we had the most amazing wedding with unforgettable memories with the wonderful gentle giants - our guests were entertained by the Elephants while we were having our photos taken & then us arriving back to the Lapa on 'Harry'... We got married in KEP Feb 06th 2010, and it was great, perfect, in a way that we would like to get married once a week in KEP for the rest of our life. But from the beginning: When we visited KEP in February 2008, we were welcomed very friendly and the staff showed us around. We also got in... More

What an amazing place to stay on the garden route. At the last minute, a week before our stay we booked an extra night and thank goodness we did! One night is not enough magical time with these elephants. THe lodge is of a very high standard, with the shared living room looking over where the elephants sleep, smells and... More
