I stayed at Constantia Palms for 3 nights in January this year and was delighted with my accommodation which was spacious and peaceful. I had my own patio terrace off the bedroom from which I could enjoy an early morning cup of tea and watch the birdlife. My bathroom overlooked a private courtyard garden with tree ferns and a fountain... More

We stayed here for 5 nights and were delighted with the standard of the rooms. Gerrie was extremely friendly, helpful and informative and the breakfasts were superb! The house is in a quiet, safe no-through road, close to the main roads to Constantia and Capetown. Many wineries, restaurants and shopping centres are all a short drive away but you do... More

After a hectic Christmas and New Year it was so refreshing to arrive at Constantia Palms with a warm welcome from Gerrie and staff. Quality accommodation with friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Nothing too much trouble. Breakfast a treat. Will definitely be returning. More

I meant to write this review a couple of months ago but somehow got distracted. My wife and I spent 4 nights at Constantia Palms in October of 2011 at the advice of our friends from California. We couldn't have been more pleased with this choice. It’s particularly convenient if you have a car (which we had). The place has... More

This is our second visit to Constantia Palms we loved it so much the first time we came back. Gerrie is the perfect host and is more knowledgeable about many parts of Africa than any travel agent or tour guide we spoke to. We were able to plan a fantastic itinerary based on his advice. The rooms are beautiful with... More

What a place to be, so quiet and remote from the world in a beautiful house with charming garden and swimming pool and yet so close to Cape Town and the wineries. The spacious, elegantly furnished penthouse, with impressive views all around and the breakfast "à la carte" in a cosy location contribute to your "feeling good". Your very knowledgeable... More

This was our 5th vacation in Constantia and first stay at Constantia Palms. Our expectations (info from the internet) were more then exceeded. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. The service, in particular the breakfast, is outstanding. Gary is very caring and helps wherever he can. Since one member of our group was facing back problems and could not... More

I chose to stay in the suburbs of Constantia on this particular trip to Cape Town because I was travelling at the tail end of winter and was worried that a rainy, windy Cape Town would be a bit of dampener. It turned out to be a great decision. Constantia is a lovely area and if the weather plays spoilsport... More

We have recently returned from our third stay with Gerrie and it was as delightful as ever.Lovely spacious well equiped rooms and bathrooms and fatally indulgent breakfasts. He recommends and reserves outstanding vineyard restaurants which are all nearby and even tickets for a Kirstenbosch concert this year.He even struggled to get our on line seat confirmations when all the flights were... Constantia Palms is a beautiful place to explore the cape peninsula. The host Gerrie is very helpful and a great connoisseur of wine. His culinary advice is always worth following. The house is run with so much love to details - that is what makes the difference. We stayed there for 9 nights and highly recommend Constantia Palms. More
