The Constantia is pure suburban bliss. A five star boutique hotel situated in one of the most beautiful areas of Cape Town. For us, we wanted to experience the wonders of the Cape but be close to our family in the southern suburbs. While most of Cape Town five star hotels are found in the CBD and coastal areas, this... more

Spent 3 nights at the Constantia as part of our honeymoon trip around the world. During this trip we were able to experience some of the best hotels in the world, but no accommodation was as special and personal as the Constantia. Originally wanted to stay near the waterfront since we were not driving in Cape Town, but the place... more

On arrival we were greeted by Lynne and seated in the lounge, with refreshments while we completed our check in. We were then taken to our room (where our luggage had already been placed) and found a warm bubble bath and a chilled bottle of wine awaiting us. The whole of our stay at The Constantia was a pleasure with... more

Arrived at 9.30 am after overnight flight from the UK. Room was already available. On shown to our room , a hot bath had been prepared . Amazing ! Stayed 3 nights . Staff could not do enough for you. Every evening a "surprise" awaited you on your return from your night out. Highly recommended. more

The entry is deceiving. Once inside the sences are overwhelmed. Beauty and friendliness abound. The staff is extremely helpful. As we entered our suite a freshly drawn bubble bath and a chilled bottle of wine awaited us. Treats on the pillow at night and a welcome home cordial each night after dinner. Quiet surroundings and beautiful grounds. I had a... more

Part of this review will be personal opinion, but first some pure facts; When we arrived at The Constantia it was raining heavily (okay I can't blame the management for that !) and to get through the security gate you have to get out of your car and press a voicecom button. I then had to wait almost a minute... more

We booked without high expectations of The Constantia, primarily because it wasn't expensive, but we had booked an expensive safari later in the week- so felt it was justified. To our surprise... it was one of the very best hotel experiences ever! As we drove up in our rental car, Claire, the manager (we came to find out), greeted us... more

This guest house prides itself on incredible service, the best I have ever experienced above any 5* hotels in the world. The team is headed by the very talented Claire, and her assistants such as Beauty add such a wonderful personal and helpful atmosphere to this establishment. The rooms are stunning and you don't have to lift a finger- total... more

My wife and myself have traveled to and stayed at some of the best hotels but our time at the Constantia was above and beyond our previous experiences. The level of service was delightfully attentive without being over intrusive.Things like washing our car without being asked, to the cocktails served when we retired for the night. The bubble bath and champers... more

We are fortunate to have stayed in Hotels all over the World, but none compare to the Constantia! Luxury is the order of the day and the staff just cannot do enough for you. The rooms are spacious, lavish, quiet and the whole setting is just perfect. You do need a car to get about, but definitely worth staying here... more
