We had been pointed to Kaapse Draai by a mutual family friend as a suggested place to stay. We didn't have a great deal of information beforehand but e-mailed to enquire on a number of things and had responses very promptly. For us (married couple; mid 50's; first time in South Africa) it was the prefect place to use as... More

have spent 2 days in Kaapse Draai but whished I had stayed longer. The property is beautiful. The room was large and very nicely decorated. The garden is very peaceful and there are sunbeds at your disposal but if you prefer you can also sit around the large table under the umbrella or on your own little terrace or balcony... More

I am almost reluctant to write a glowing review in case we can't get a booking next holiday! We travelled with 2 friends and were 100% happy with every aspect of our 8-day stay. Annelie and Johan are perfect hosts and we felt they were old friends. The team is completed by housekeeper, Engela, who was pleasant and obliging, and... More

I am worried that if I write yet another review of Kaapse Draai, Annelie will refuse to book us for next stay? The main advantages apart from the ones mentioned before:about 3 miles from Kirstenbosch Gardens, walking distance to Constantia Village shopping centre, ditto to excellent Cattle Baron restaurant, short driving distance to M3 motorway and wine estates yet in... Although we stayed in extremely nice b&bs during this holiday , Kaapse Draai is special. Not only great hospitality but the interior is so elegant, the garden a joy to sit in , both hosts take time to talk to guests , find their likes and dislikes, as well as offer excellent advice what to see and where to eat.The... I was looking for afrodable accommodation in Contantia and found Kaapse draai website. On the website they say they were graded 4 star. I work in the hospitality and went for training at a 4star bnb so was expecting something similar. I paid in full before arrival. Did not get any notification or booking confirmation. Had to request it. When... More

Annelie and Johan made us and other guests feel so much at home we did not want to leave. The temptation was to stay all day in the garden or their very elegant house. But it was easy to get to Cape Town as well as beaches and airport.Annelie recommended excellent restaurants. Back in UK we dream of going back .

Sadly we only stayed in this beautiful guest house for one night and I would happily have stayed longer. The house sits in fantastic gardens with a large comfortable patio and the is tastefully and comfortably decorated throughout. The rooms are gorgeous with a French feel, every amenity you would need including a hairdryer and the welcome received from Annelie... More
