We recently stayed a week at 55 Loader Street. This property has been recently renovated and we loved it. The décor is fresh and modern with great amenities for a perfect stay. It is a great location for nearby restaurants and cafes and easy access to the rest of Cape Town. The alarm system was an added security (coming from... More

I stayed at the 7 Bayview Terrace cottage with two colleagues during a conference for a week. We had an amazing time in this cottage. It was great to have a living room and kitchen. We each had our own bedroom (two very spacious ones, one was smaller) with separate bathrooms. Everything was very nicely (and modernly) decorated. Views were... More

We did stay at 42 Napier Street for three nights in April. The neighborhood and the outside of the house, same for living room, dining table and kitchen, are lovely, great and perfect. Same for the view on the roof terrace, absolutely stunning. Check-in and service before we arrived were good. The bathrooms are very old and outdated, also not... More

Hi there As always we greatly appreciate any constructive feedback from guests and always try to assist whenever possible during a guests stay. Much as this reviewer appears to give the impression that we are 5 star rated we are in fact 4 star rated. In addition 4 star rating for self-catering is different to 4 star rating for a... More

I stayed at 7 Bay View Terrace (also known as 88 Loader Street I think) for 3 nights with my husband. The cottage was stunning with fantastic views from every window of either the Bay or Table Mountain. Airport transfer and check in was effortless and every member of staff we met was lovely and helpful. We took the recommendations... More

There aren't many bad things to say about this property or the management. The staff, from reception to cleaning, are very helpful and friendly. The property itself was also spot on. Uncluttered and clean. Great location. Wifi (a small fee), Washer and dryer. Full kitchen with pots and pans etc. Also the fridge is stocked with essentials (Milk, Wine, Beer,... More

We stayed at number 110 Waterkant (there are several properties that make up the cottages). This was a lovely place with 3 large bedrooms, two bathrooms (no baths) and all the cooking facilities. There is room for individual privacy if required. From the two spacious roof areas you can see out to the waterfront and Table Mountain towered in the... More

We had a four night stay at 29 Jarvis street. I can highly recommend this accommodation. The location is ideal, a modern, well appointed cottage in a area steeped in history. Narrow, cobblestone roads lead to this gem in central Cape Town. I can hardly imagine a more convenient location!

Came down for honeymoon during August and never regret my decision on choosing my accommodation. We stayed at 23 Loader for 8 nights and I have nothing negative to say about anything. We fully enjoyed our stay, the cottage is well equipped and doesn't lack anything. Location is excellent and so is the view! Getting around is not a problem... More

Our little family of three stayed at 4 Bayview for four nights last month after (originally booking 2 Bayview) and had a great experience there. (Considering that there are three bedrooms, it was a bit more than we needed, but we enjoyed the spaciousness.) The overall impression of service is one of reserved professionalism, which is a common theme in... More

For many years, I have stayed at various properties managed by De Waterkant Cottages, and have never had a bad experience. The office staff are friendly and helpful, and the daily cleaning staff are likewise professional and unobtrusive. I recently stayed at 110 Waterkant, a large 3-bedroom house with two bathrooms. The property is largely as described on their website,... More
