Leeuwenvoet House is within walking distance of the city centre - even the Waterfront is not too far away. There are quite a few restaurants and bars just around the corner. The house itself is pretty and the rooms are spacious, although it was sometimes a little bit noisy. Staff is also very friendly and helpful and there is a... More

This guest house is perfect for walking around Cape Town and viewing its many attractions. Our room was clean and beautifully decorated. The staff was helpful and very attentive. Breakfast was delightful!

The guest house is ideally situated within walking distance to the city, restaurants and public transport. Our room was clean, neat and big enough, the bathroom was just as good. Breakfast is a meal to look forward to as the ladies of Leeuwenvoet House whip up a made to order scrumptious meal. The staff are warm and helpful and per... More

We had a very friendly reception at Leeuwenvoet House. The room was tastefully decorated and had a luxurious bath. The view was wonderful and we felt very comfortable. The place is beautiful and neat. We never had to use our own vehicle, because we discovered the "Mycity"-Bus Service on the doorstep of this establishment. It is so central to all... More

The deck and breakfast and view of Table Mountain was really good. But we were very disappointed with the room and the bathroom - very little water pressure and couldn't really shower. Also the parking was under a very messy tree and a few funny smells walking from reception to the room. Marlie was very friendly and overall not too... More

Stayed here for 4 nights whilst working in Cape Town. Very open and friendly staff, always happy! Room and bed very comfortable. Great location close to Long Street (bars and restaurants) and a couple of great ones literally a walk around the corner. Views of Table Mountain! Hotel is very quiet too, great for relaxing. Highly recommend

I really enjoyed my stay at this lovely guest house. The rooms are nicely set up and very clean. There is a blow-dryer in the room. Also appreciate that they have a multi-outlet electricity bar by the desk in the room for computers and phones. Makes it easy to access without bending around under furniture trying to find an outlet.... More

We stayed at the hotel with one night inbetween elsewhere. Both rooms were spacious and individually decorated, which gives them a nice touch. The owners and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help with making phonecalls for us and serving breakfast early both days. Breakfast is excellent with many choices. Above all... More

Positives: Really nice location with a terrific restaurant (Miller's Thumb) just around the corner. Friendly, helpful staff and great breakfast. The view of Table Mountain from the terrace was wonderful. Room 1 was large and comfortable. Not so positive: Even with closed windows, our next door neighbor's air conditioner kept us awake all night. We were directed to use the... More

I stayed over a week at the Leeuwenvoet House, upon a move to Cape Town, after thoroughly researching on-line guesthouses and hotels in Cape Town. The owners and staff (especially Isabel) were warm and very helpful. The whole guesthouse was beautifully decorated with lots of little lovely touches - even my real estate agent who only used the downstairs toilet... More
