We stayed at Derwent House as the final stop on our South African honeymoon and it was the perfect ending. We used the apartment, which was good for us and two teenagers. The place was perfectly clean, with a nice welcome package in the fridge. They have an amazing collection of DVD's which we enjoyed. Stayed here for four nights in early November and it was really lovely. Best thing about it is the service, especially from Jo who really couldn;t have done any more to make us feel at home. With only four days in CT we wanted to make the most of it and she really helped us do that with restaurant bookings... more

I can only add to the reviews below, we had a fantastic stay at Derwent house, it exceeded all our expectations. Highlights - breakfast, the pool, location (great to be able to safely walk to great local restaurants.) Six of us stayed at derwent house in october for four nights. When we arrived at the airport in capetown our transfer to the hotel never turned up. The staff and the owners Carol & Jo could not do too much for you. From the constant tea, cake (and port for those inclined), the internet access, the comfy lounge, the great breakfast and general help nothing was too much. We picked Derwent House because of other Trip Advisor reviews and we certainly weren't disappointed. Our room was lovely - with a fabulous view of Table Mountain.
