I stayed at The Cullinan, Cape Town. The Hotel is good but better is a tiny Italian place close to the Hotel (right behind opposite Bugati Restaurant). Pizzas made in fire oven is unbelievably good and wines are good too!! altogether made our stay memorable. The hotel is very modern and definitely in the 4 star bracket. It is close to the waterfront area, but still a 10 minute cab ride away. There is a shuttle which runs every 30 mins to the waterfront and back and charges ZAR10 one-way. It is also very close to the city centre and therefore makes a good choice... more

I paid R1700 (about €250) for an executive room. For that price, it was very poor value. The construction is poor with little noise insulation and poorly fitting doors.
