Rutland Lodge offers a quiet, peaceful stay while visiting Capetown. There is magnificient attention to detail, in decor, food and hospitality. I was referred to this hotel by the Derwent House Hotel because they were not open when I was visiting Cape Town. The Rutland Lodge is a beautiful house and has a kindly host - it is one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. The bed was sumptous, shower and bath wonderful, and breakfast excellent. more

There is little I could write that has not already been written about Rutland Lodge. I would just like to add my voice to those who have written about how wonderful the lodge and Jean Jo are.
