The staff was amazing and location great .However, when booking on their webpage guests should be informed that they might not get to the guest house that they originally booked. I booked a room at Sweet Lemon with a terrace and windows. The night before my reservation I received a call that they will be moving us to sweet orange... More

The room we stayed in was very small and could not have stayed for more than the two nights, bed linen was clean and bed was comfortable, would be better if wifi was free as you are paying for the room? bathroom needed an update but other than that was ok,would use again in future

It was a lovely, colourful room with a very big bed in it. The staff was really nice, we arrived at 23:45 but they still made some welcome drinks for us. The only minus is that we couldn't have breakfast because they start with breakfast at 8 o'clock.

We do start our breakfast at 08h00, certainly we do not mind to go the extra mile for early breakfast if we get the request, for the inconvenience this may has caused we sincerely apologise. the location is good, but the rooms are old and the TV does not have cable. The shower is not good at all, but the staff is friendly. They give you the keys of the place because there is no one at night.

Beautiful guest house. We were welcomed by a very nice and amicable staff who gave us all the tips and relevant info to make the most but of out trip. Good and friendly service. Even though location itselfis quite good the only downside I would say is that there are a couple of dodgy characters always hanging out right outside... More

Dear Oscar P, Your review is appreciated by the entire staff of Sweetest Guesthouses and we Thank you to add comments about your stay at Sweet Orange Guesthouses. We stayed here for 5 nights at the end of a long tour through South Africa. The staff were welcoming, the decor rather quirky, yet appealing, and the breakfasts totally lovely. One nice touch was 'today's breakfast special' ranging from various fruit smoothies, to Bircher Muesli and sweet filled pancakes. Freshly squeezed juice and eggs cooked to order. This guest... More

We stayed one night at this quirky, faux-colonial guesthouse, one of several 'Sweets' close to good restaurants and oceanside walks.Everything worked fine (lighting, toilet, showers, etc) but the whole place made a - possibly intentional - run-down impression (doors that stuck, old furniture, eccentric décor). Our bed (room 'Moon') was very comfortable and the room spacious with direct access to... More

We started a cycle tour of the Cape and ended it here. We were very lucky to have two different rooms, both being very nice. All amenities were catered for and the breakfasts were very good. However you have to pay for WiFi - ANNOYING!
