This charming hotel has a great location in Long Street. That's nice if you are looking for a a lively and exciting party of town. If you are however looking for a quiet night sleep, you may want to book elsewhere. We stayed two nights and found the noise to be hardly noticeable on the first night, but annoying on... more

Stayed here for 3 nights in January. A very stylish hotel. Great service. Secure parking in a nearby garage. I didn´t get the wifi to work so I had to use the computer at the front desk. But beware, the street outside (Long street) is very noisy and none of us got any sleep any of the nights we stayed... more

I recently stayed at the Urban Chic Hotel in the trendy Long Street on a business trip accompanied by my girlfriend. We absolutely loved our experience at the hotel The hotels' location, being away from the V&A waterfront is actually ideal for exploring Cape Town as its situated in Long street within walking distance to the trendy cafes and restaurants... more

Sort of shadowy reception where they gave me some 30 minute internet vouchers after sending me an email that there was 24 wi-fi for free. The rooms were nice but all the talk on their website about soundproofing is nonsense, it was incredibly noisy all nights. The breakfast was decent but if this is you budget, stay near the Waterfront... more

The hotel overall is good, nice rooms, good parking and extrmely more affordable than V&A hotels. So a good choice for cape town. The position is central, the area is safe only 5 min drive from waterfront (100 ZAR taxi) The hotel overall is very clean...only thing that bed sheets are all old and sometimes have scratches and some dirt...... more

First, I have to give credit to Vanessa at the front desk. We had two fairly substantial mix-ups with our travel agent and she really did everything within her power to straighten things out. Considering neither were her or the hotel's fault, that's huge! The hotel's design is lovely and very modern (perhaps too modern if design for design's sake... more

We stayed for one night here when we arrived in Capetown enroute to drive the garden route. We were impressed with the cleanliness and modern style of the hotel. We really didn't do much sightseeing from this location, however, found it to be quite central. We walked out during the day and felt quite safe. Across the street is a... more
