We have a fantastic stay and the staff was so friendly and helpful. I want to go back for my valentines weekend I hope there's a room available for us. The standard rooms are spacious. I will recommend it to any one who is looking forward to experience good stay in cape town.

I stayed at the Urban chic hotel over the weekend and can strongly recommend. Not only is it very well located but the staff was very friendly and helpful. A special thanks to Leandra for making us feel at home and ensuring we had a good time.

Room was amazing and really clean. Window opened out onto Long Street where all the action is, so if you are staying here ask at reception for ear plugs as it is really noisy. Didn't bother us though as we only stayed one night. Central to everything and we were sorry we hadn't booked for longer. Staff were really friendly.... More

Stayed here 3 nights with a friend before travelling on to Jo'burgh. Having read previous reviews we weren't sure whether we had made the right choice with location, but were pleased with the result. Yes - there is a lot of noise from the street at night - have never experienced anything like it - so many people about until... More

I cant say its the best nor can I say its the worst. It has its ups & downs. Its no secret the downs is the noise, just like in every other review. Friday and Saturday nights here are probably the worst out of all the other days, after all the street is the night life of Cape Town. Luckily for... More

YOU will have to be prepared to forego your beauty sleep if YOU will staying at the Urban Chic Hotel. The room is sufficient for a brief stay in the most busiest part of Cape Town....Long Street. The fittings are in perfect condition with a shower and bath provided. Clean room and linen in good condition, serviced daily. There is... More

One can break up the review into two parts. Part one. The hotel, The rooms are spacious, clean (We did however have a HUGE cockroach visit us), well presented with all the amenities one is looking for. If you want to be at the center of Cape Towns night life, then the location is ideal. If you need to be... More

This is a not a bad hotel but it's situated in Long Street which is probably best to be avoided at night. The hotel itself feels like a budget boutique hotel. No fancy trimmings etc but it is nice enough. The rooms have sliding Windows which are nice to allow fresh air into. The rooms are on the smaller side... More

Great hotel situated on the busy Long st. Rooms are clean and well presented. We were upgraded to a "corner " room which offered spectacular views of table mountain and surrounds. The location is right in the middle of long st, mere moments from good restaurants and bars. If you're after action then it is the perfect hotel. If you're... More
