The staff is great. Before my arrival, I contacted the hotel reception and asked questions about restaurants and attractions in the area -- they responded back graciously and promptly with useful information. The breakfast is excellent and plenty -- the value of this hotel is top notch. Great views, great breakfast, free secure parking, in the heart of Long St.... More

this is a gem of a hotel which may not look much on the outside, but once in your room (by day) it is just great. The design and comfort of the rooms is perfect for a small hotel with fantastic bathtubs and other fittings. The location is great as you are right in the heart of a city that... More

We chose this hotel because it was in the city and close to everything. The room was large and very comfortable. The view of Table Mountain was breathtaking. Staff were awesome making suggestions and booking outings. Breakfasts were excellent. Other reviews tell of the night noise and they are right. We used our ear plugs and slept fine. Would definitely... More

Reasonable rates, good central location with great restaurants and attractions close by. Free parking which is a nice perk in such a crowded part of town. Wonderful breakfast which is a great way to start a busy day. Friendly front desk staff with great suggestions for activities. Like others have said though, it is loud at night with a bar... More

This hotel is wonderfully positioned if you want to be in the heart of Cape Town - essentially the suites are fairly simple and accommodating, they serve an excellent breakfast and the bar is a warm cosy place to enjoy their free tea and cake in the afternons. The hotel IS noisy at night, but it is a trade off... More

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel room was nice and clean. But we got zero sleep. The location of the hotel is across the street from numerous clubs that play loud music till late into the night. After the bars close there is screaming in the streets all night long. Def not a place to sleep unless... More

No real complaints. Stayed only one night. Live in Cape Town but we needed a getaway. Room was big and bright, awesome bed and good shower. Missed a few things in the room but no biggies. Very good breakfast with several choices. Front desk available and helpful, very friendly. Noisy, not really if you consider the location which is within... More

Too many positives not to give it a try: A great 4 star hotel that will not dig too deep into your pockets. Beautiful rooms, with even better views of table mountain, which can be seen through your floor to ceiling windows. The staff are attentive, friendly and eager to please. And the location is perfect! On Long Street, and walking... More

It is just plain sad that a beautiful place like this is managed by a lady who has no respect for people. My team and I stayed at the hotel for seven nights and our experience was just horrible. On our arrival, the manager waited for us at the door (with security guy) insisting that we pay R27 000 upfront... More

Dear Ma'am I will not be thanking you for your review as I usually do as I feel that your complaint is unfounded. Your attack on me as the manager, is misdirected and you are only upset that I did not allow you to rip us off when you arrived. For some background, when you initially made the reservation 3...
