This is a well located hotel near to Convention center good for business activities, V&A Waterfront and just on the long street (lower). A few minutes walk to all these places. Breakfast and food is good and free wifi. The downside remains the tiny double bed rooms and present on the busy roundabout that sometimes becomes noisy. A good place,... More

First time stay, but very unimpressed with the state of the hotel, because being hold does not have to be neglected. friendly staff, but very dirty, lack of attention to detail, including at the restaurant were the table was set for the next "client", but never cleaned of rests of food and milk marks from the cups etc. supervisors LOOKING,... I stayed in this hotel a few years ago, and thought it was actually OK at that time. Decided to return to this hotel, and must say that the price was not bad. Anyway, this is what I would say about this place: POSITIVE POINTS: The lobby area and bar are actually the parts of the hotel that is reasonably... More

This hotel ticks all the boxes for 4 star but is badly in need of a refurb! It's quite noisy, from inside and outside. Our room is rather 'tired' - furniture chipped and marked, toilet cracked, sliding door into bathroom doesn't work properly and shower door won't close! Hot water is never hot enough and the 'hot' tap must run... More

We stayed here for our anniversary, we had a nice room with a small balcony and a good view. The room felt perfectly equipped… it is in the middle of Cape Town so we just used it as a place to sleep… and breakfast was very good as well with a wide variety to choose from. We were welcomed with... More

Very good location within Cape Town CBD close to the railway station and the main bus station at the Civic Center. There is work going on within the hotel at this time which can prove to be noisy during the day. Our initial room was very small and had no exterior view, to be avoided at all cost, but as... More

On arrival, I am greeted by the door man, who opens it. Gentleman or not. That was nice. The air con works. Food is marvellous. Love their lighting. And there is order. This time, waiters know where to be

great location, impressive from the outside but the rooms are extremely disappointing and some of the staff were very unhelpful. We had booked a superior room for three nights, on the way to our room we seen the inside of a room with the door open, the room looked very bright and spacious so we were greatly disappointed when we... We stayed here for 3 nights as the final stop on a group holiday to South Africa. Plus points: staff are friendly and helpful, breakfasts are great, the whole place is very clean; central location within easy walking distance of Long Street; comfortable beds Minus points: the location, right on a busy roundabout in the centre of Cape Town, means...
