On our recent holiday we stayed in 5 different guest houses in the Western Cape and Gordon's Beach Lodge was far and away the best.
It has only been built recently and all the rooms are very spacious with excellent beds, armchairs, fridge, and anything you could possibly want. The bathrooms are huge with a big bath and walk in shower.
The place is run by a very friendly and knowledgeable family who could not be more helpful. We were given a free upgrade upon arrival and also a late check-out for our evening flight since they were not full that night.
The breakfasts were superb with lovely fresh fruit and the bacon and egg cooked on the spot. They also do some evening meals on certain days and they were also beautifully cooked.
It certainly did top all expectations more
