Had a great time there while following the Birish and Irish Lions. Apartment was clean, comfortable and right in the centre of all the bars and restaurants. Candice and Enrico were so warm and friendly. Sure it can get load but they do provide ear plugs. Would recommend and would go back again. n more

We stayed at Daddy long legs for a couple of nights in central Cape Town. We had stayed outside of the city centre for a while but felt we wanted to be in the hub of things for our last couple of nights. Also wanted to check out the clubs and bars on Long St. For doing that the location... more

Having read reviews in the guidebooks we thought that this 'boutique hotel' sounded like a good option to stay at for our last three nights in Cape Town. All looked ok to start with. Its definately not a boutique hotel though - a backpackers but that was not a problem for us. After arriving and checking in we waited for... more

A little belated review but here goes! Enjoyed our stay here. Very central and was good value for money. I was recommended this place by a friend who had stayed earlier in the year. It met all our needs and found front staff very helpful with my many questions! Our room was being mak1one and while was adequate was a... more

It's real comfortable apartment with all the stuff I need such as washing machine, oven, microwave and so on. The apartment is just right in the center of Cape town, only ten minutes walk to the Art museum, German park, Tourism information center etc. The manager was also friendly and helpful. Though, it was so noisy at nignt time and... more

Amazing! I can not fault this place or their staff or anything about our stay. To be perfectly honest, the staff, in particular Wayne, made our stay really memorable. His fantastic helpful and funny nature and his local knowledge helped us book tours which were really to our flavour. Our room was called 'Open' and it was really comfortable- the... more

We have just returned from Cape Town where we spent our final two nights in Daddy Long Legs. The hotel itself was very cool – I loved the room (You Are Here) and the general atmosphere which was very much like a backpackers place. The loos in reception were also brilliant – I loved having a wee and seeing what... more

I enjoyed our stay at the Daddy Long Legs. All the rooms are very different, so it is worth it to visit their website and chose the room you prefer yourself. We stayed in the "open" one. The walls are filled with pictures of sunsets and the roof has a mosaic of mirrors (which was the main reason for what... more

We stayed in the emergency room for one night. The theme is a hospital room with red being the main colour of the room. Hospital equipment in the room! Plus a nurses outfit! Bed was not that great - could do with replacing. Bathroom floor could have been cleaner. Not sure I would want to stay in this room more... more

This place is great, particularly if you're under 23 and on your gap year. We're a little older (nearly 30), and we felt it a bit! The staff are lovely and very helpful, the atmosphere is fun and welcoming and the rooms are fantastic. It's also very cheap. However....there are a few things that stop me recommending it. Firstly the... more

Dear HappyHoliday Thank you for the review and feedback. We appreciate the feedback and take your comments and recommendation seriously. In answer to your review: I think it's important to visitors to Cape Town to not just stay on the beachfront, in a resort type environment. The city is fun, funky, and full of energy and a great place to...
