We stayed three nights in cape diamond hotel. Its well located in the center of the city and close to shopping and hop on hop off bus station 5. This makes it a nice start to explore the city. The hotel is not very luxury but very good value for the price. Room was nice and clean, bathroom new and... More

We stayed with a group of forty people which was obviously too much for this hotel three different people got handed the key to their room and found ppl in there, some just stepped out of the shower... Double bookings! The breakfast/dinner room is by far too small for many ppl, only around 30 seats so pure stress and standing... More

The hotel is in a central position, everything was clean and working and my room and bathroom were very comfortable. But the staff was really exceptional! I arrived with a crutch and a torn ligament and had just left a very unpleasant hotel on the other side of Cape Town. But thanks to Cape Diamond and its staff I remember... More

First, the parking was a nightmare. You gotta somehow park where you won't get towed, go to the hotel and ask for the tag, drive 7+ circles up to Floor G across the street and then return the tag to the hotel. When you need to fetch the car the same repeats plus you have to wait for the tag... More

We stayed here for six days in august, and were very satisfied. Clean rooms, helpful staff, and great location in the middle of town. Pretty cheap for a hotel, but that was without breakfast, which for us was fine. There's a good place for getting something to eat right across the street as well. On saturday night, it was pretty... Stayed overnight last month. The experience was terrible. The room stank of sewerage and the lift made a noise throughout the night. Slept badly and could not wait to leave the following morning at 6 00 am. Complained to the manager who said he would try and make it up some how. Never heard from him again. The irony is... More

The location of the hotel is great - smack bang centre of town and right opposite an amazing eatery where you can get really good food for very affordable prices. Rooms are clean and a decent size - affordable and better than expected. The service was a bit odd though. The room was not ready at check in, even though... More

Our travel agent agent booked this on our our behalf. It is in a good location but that is the best part. The reception staff were also very helpful and informative. The room was small and the end suite tiny. It could be described as adequate but not comfortable. The room needed a thorough clean though as under the bed... More

Hotel has a good location in centre of town, easy to get to and near all attractions. Reception small with nice bar and restaurant area. Staff very friendly and helpful. Safe deposit in reception. Wifi free short time. Lift didn't work. Last day walked down 7 flights of stairs with cases. Room small but very clean with double bed with... More
