Antony, the co-owner of the Blackheath Lodge in the Sea Point section of Cape Town, is a wonderful host who sees to every last detail of his delightfully hospitable inn. The rooms are tastefully and stylishly decorated and come equipped with coffee/tea making supplies, soft cushy robes, electrical adaptors and large bottles of shampoos and lotions in each room. My... As soon as you arrive in this hotel you are taken in charge by Antony who will continuously be ready to rule out your problems and provide you with all what you need. With the nice breakfast and the other kind people working in the hotel this not really a hotel, this is a cosy family which welcomes you. I... More

Often top rated hotels on Trip Advisor come with top rated prices. You get with Blackheath five star personalised service, at a very reasonable rate. If the lodge was larger, and more people stayed here it would be number 1. There is no better place in Cape Town to stay. First time Ive rated a hotel on Trip Advisor perfect... More

Antony and his team at Blackheath Lodge are fantastic. From pick up at the airport I felt at home. The lodge itself is beautiful and our room was fantastic. As you can see I can't say enough nice things about Blackheath Lodge, as my first experience of Africa I'll never forget it and if I get the chance I'll be... More

Very friendly place to stay in Cape Town. Stylishly decorated with the best pot of tea ever. They helped us plan our trip after CT to see the winelands, whale watching and more - so even though this is a b n b - its very full service. They were armed with solutions to every problem we had, internet worked... More

Welcoming, provides bright comfy rooms, staff work hard to realise your special wishes about town, such as meals out or safe transfers. Wonderful breakfast includes dynamite filo pastry quiches! Highly recommended.

I was recently in Cape Town for a conference and stayed here. Many colleagues stayed downtown and were (wisely) afraid to venture out at night. Blackheath is a 20-30 minute walk from the convention centre along the seacoast - truly a wonderful walk. I feel that Blackheath is an excellent alternative to these large hotels if you like customized plans... More

This hotel is fantastic, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and would do anything for us, gave good advise and recommendations of places to visit, called ahead to book activities for us. Beautiful rooms, huge, comfy beds, lovely dining and out door pool area. Great location to visit all over cape town. Food was great. Absolutely loved this place,... More
