On Foreign Trips we don't normally stay in Boutique Hotels however this time around we decided to do something different and so opted to stay for 14 Days at Blackheath Lodge in Cape Town. We could not have made a better choice, the location and the accommodation itself is perfect for any length of stay in Cape Town. Any length... More

Stayed here for 4 nights. Very helpful restaurant recommendations and reservation service prior to stay. Very warm welcome and lots of help and advice from the word "go" (e.g booking tickets for Table Mountain and taxis). Lovely spacious room. Adjoining large comfortable lounge and kitchen area for shared use. Excellent breakfast with pastries to die for.

During our 6 day stay in Cape Town, we stayed at the Blackheath Lodge and were not disappointed with our choice. We would first like to thank the entire staff especially Charle, Jean-Claude, Antony, Godfrey who were all incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They really made our stay extra special. When we arrived, we were a bit run down and... More

My wife and I recently spent 5 nights here, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cape Town. Every need you can think of seems to have been catered for, along with quite a few you probably hadn't thought of. Our bedroom was modern, spacious and quiet, and the bed was extremely comfortable. There was a large TV screen... More

Customer service was top notch! Greeted and welcomed by friendly staff - made to feel like home upon arrival while waiting on room to be ready. Just a few block walk to the beach, and a short taxi ride to the V&A Waterfront. Knowledgeable staff and the owners are accessible. Free wi-fi; breakfast made to order; safe location; key fob... This guest house is not what you expect when you walk I from the street. It's a real surprise, very quaint, lovely courtyard with swimming pool. The rooms are spacious with all the facilities you require. They serve an excellent breakfast if a little slow. The one downside is ther are not enough tables for everyone for breakfast so if... The owner Antony along with his team Charle and Jean Claude were amazing, helping us with anything we asked for. Charming rooms, very chic decoration implementing modern with south african. Attention to... More

My wife and I spent three nights at Blackheath Lodge at the beginning of our vacation. It was a great way to start off the vacation. It is one of the nicest guest houses I've ever stayed in. The rooms are very nice and comfortable, the food is great but it is the incredible service that really sets Blackheath Lodge... More

Arriving late into Cape Town we were picked up at the airport and it was a short 20 minute ride to the airport. On arrival we were greeted with a wine. The room was large and beautifully decorated with a massive bay window looking out to the quiet residential street filled with Victorian homes. Breakfast was beautifully cooked to your... More

This lodge has to be among my top 3 accommodations EVER! The lodge itself is darling; decorated beautifully, every little amenity you could imagine, inviting outside pool area etc. But what puts this place in the top 3 is the staff - the owner Anthony has created a culture of exceptional customer service that starts with him & touches everyone...
