Character filled historic house, which was the home of the last Commandant of the Cape Castle in the 1770's. Tucked away in the backroads off Upper Buitenkant Street it is good value for money, with well appointed rooms and friendly staff. Given the promises of exceptional service the inability to recommend local restaurants disappointed. Plumbing less than perfect and the... More

Dear Howard, Many thanks for taking the time to review us, we really appreciate the positive review as well as the points raised. Pieter our manager said he did give some restaurant recommendations when you checked in but you must have spoken to our new evening receptionist regarding the restaurants a bit later on. She has been with us for... More

Greeted by a most friendly reception. Boutique hotel situated in a heritage-type house. Small swimming pool next to the recreation area which has braai (bbq) facilities. Not luxuriously large but rooms are more than adequate. All the mod-cons are there - showers, bath, TV (which strangely I could never get to work - perhaps they should leave detailed instructions for... More

Great spot with such great staff and rooms are fabulous and definitely one to return to. The breakfast was yum and we were all set up for a long drive along the gardens route. We agreed that we would stay longer next time.

The Three Boutique Hotel was a great home base for us on our first visit to Cape Town. It has a very relaxed spirit to it--very open and classical looking, in what I'm guessing is Dutch Colonial architecture. It's a small place, so we came to know the staff and ended up chatting with them every day (including Fana, the... More

If you are visiting Cape Town this hotel is a must. Don't bother with the big brands and big prices, this hotel has big clean rooms, well decorated and a sun terrace that looks straight at table mountain and lions head. The staff make you feel like family (big shout to Laura who is the stuff of dreams) and look... More

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel during our stay in Cap Town. Nice rooms, very quite, and very good service. The hotel is located not so far from city center and offers an outstanding view on Table Mountain.

After a 3/4 minute drive up the back streets off the main road we came across the Three Boutique Hotel, parking in the secure courtyard. This character property has been renovated to a very high standard. All rooms are accessed externally from the wrap around balcony, the large glazed bedroom door providing the only window, so curtains had to be... More

The things we loved are the beautiful building, the top notch friendly service and the spacious rooms. All these good things were however unfortunately let down by a lower than expected level of cleanliness. When we arrived our room smelled a bit and the bathroom floor was sticky, and we had to go through a few plates in the mornings... More

My wife and I stayed here for our first 2 nights in Cape Town and can not speak more highly of the accommodation and service provided. Front of House staff first class and very helpful in organising tickets for trips and transfers. The hotel is 10 minutes taxi ride from the main town which is a bit of a pain,... More
