We have a wonderful time at Abbey Manor. Judy did look after us the whole time. She organised trips for us, and restaurants. Our room was very comfortable, and the bed just right. Breakfast is delicious. The staff were helpful. more

What can't i say positive about the Abbey and Judi our delightful and email friendly host. I miss her greatly already. She alone would have given this top ratings. Even her fill in Angie, was outstanding in service while Judi was up in Paarl drinking we hope? Bit of a climb for bags but once you tackle that its all... more

We spent 8 nights at Abbey Manor, and could have not wanted a better place to base ourselves for our week in Capetown. Judi and Angela were so helpful (who needs a Lonely Planet with these two hosts!). We had the Devils Peak room, and made good use of the claw foot bath that looked out onto Mountain. Room was... more

This place is a great b+b. Make sure you get the room with the view of the front street. The area is safe, the neighborhood is close to table mountain and camp's bay....a bit of a drive to cape point...but any area would be. I think it is a great place and the view is amazing......the people are also so... more

The Abbey Manor was meant to be the luxurious conclusion to our garden route holiday. However after a cycling accident in Franschhoek it turned out to be so much more so as our time there was extended from its intended three days. Judi single-handedly rescued our honeymoon from what could have been a fairly sad ending to a silver-lined cloud... more

After arriving on our overnight flight from London, the Abbey Manor was just perfect! We were greeted with drinks and our room was ready which was an unexpected, but very welcome, bonus. The location is perfect, within 10 minutes drive of central Cape Town but tucked away in a quiet residentail area with parking directly outside. Our room was very... more

We received the warmest welcome when we arrived at Abbey Manor after a 12-hour flight. We were offered drinks, a little rest and advice about what to do in Cape Town. Everyday began with a sumptious breakfast and Judi was always there when we needed any advice about anything - restaurants, directions, phonecards. The location's easily assessible from the airport... more

We stayed at Abbey Manor first on our honeymoon trip, and have since been to many places in South Africa. Simply put – nothing compares. Abbey Manor is comfortable, in a wonderful position, and the people look after you in such a nice way. Our room (called the Devils Peak) is the most extravagant room I’ve ever seen in a... more

Couldn't have been better- warm welcome, friendly staff, fabulous breakfasts and very nice, soft sheets! This will be the only Cape Town B&B where I will stay from now on! Highest recommendation. more

We stayed at Abbey Manor for three nights when we first arrived in Cape Town. It is a lovely guesthouse, with beautifully furnished rooms, located in a residential and green area of Cape Town. We loved our claw footed tub, with the wonderful view to Loin’s Head. The breakfast service (and food) was wonderful. Judi was very helpful in all... more
