The very very best B&B we have ever stayed in!!! Amazing views, the rooms and design of the house is remarkable - have been here for both winter and summer and will continue to book here on my visits. The location is perfect and it's also out the hustle and bustle of main city bowl. Its literally right under Table... More

A new modern B&B with some of the best views in Cape Town. The rooms have excellent modern finishes like automatic closing blinds, USB charging sockets, air-conditioning, and double glazing sliding doors and windows. The suspended, glass walled pool is impressive. Off street, undercover parking. Breakfasts are a treat. The hostes Christine had been very helpful and friendly both times... More

The B&B is ideally located at the foot of the Table Mountain, with very modern rooms and a very comfy bed. Great breakfast (variety of bread, sausage, cheese and fruit, fruit juices, selection of teas or coffee, eggs...) Super-friendly staff, safe parking. Thanks Christine for hosting us! If I ever get the chance to come to Cape Town again I'll... More

I stayed at Chris' Bayview Guesthouse for two weeks for a work-cation. I had some work to do and wanted to also spend some time enjoying the sights, sounds and pleasures of Capetown and its environs. Chris was prompt and very helpful in organizing my time there. She offered to assist me with car rental and other details. She responded... More

I have stayed at Bayview numerous times, and absolutely love it. It is everything one could ask for. The building is an architectural masterpiece, complete with a glass swimming pool and exquisite views. It is also perfectly located in the City Bowl. Christine and her staff are friendly and attentive, but also gracious enough to leave you in peace. The... More

I reviewed Bayview Guesthouse in 2011, but since then there has been a complete rebuild, though it is still run and owned by Christine, Lulu continues as the star in the kitchen and the amazing views of Table Mountain haven't gone away. But the new Bayview is a completely different place - this wasn't a renovation but a complete rebuild.... More

My friend and I recently stayed in this wonderful guest house and quite honestly it is without doubt one of best I have ever stayed in. Christine and Corinne made us feel very at home and the service and extras were second to none. The house is beautifully renovated and has a stunning view of the bay and Table Mountain.... More

This is a brilliant place. If you are looking for a comfortable, even opulent base from which to explore Cape Town; look no further. Set in a quiet neighbourhood with a relaxed, spacious and clean atmosphere, Bayview is excellent. The,view on waking, of Table Mountain, is worth the cost on its own. Breakfast was delightful and plentiful. Christine runs a... More

We were disheartened to receive zero to little etiquette from the receptionist when calling to inquire about accommodation. Manners go a long way! I can say that I will never stay at this lodging nor will I advise anyone else to!

Thank you again to Christine & Corinne for sharing their fabulous place with us. Stunning and completely renovated with a great view over CT & Table Mountain. Perfectly situated and within walking distance of Kloof street restaurants. We had breakfast at the guesthouse - Lulu is a great cook.
