Thoroughly enjoyed the stay, location is fantastic (only R60 to the V&A or R70 to camps bay), the venue grounds and view up to table mountain are equally fantastic, staff supremely helpful and really do go the extra mile.

We were walkins looking for a quiet, relaxed and refreshing night after a draining 3 weeks; what a find! Fatima at reception immediately welcomed us, settled us in and then saw from my husbands ID that it was his birthday the following day so presented us with a bottle of champers! we soaked in the bath, had an excellent meal... One will have to go a long way to improve on the friendly staff at reception. This, combined with a perfect location, good security and ample parking contributed to a pleasant stay at Rosedene. The staff, from the friendly hello over the intercom when we buzzed the gate to the time they rushed to serve us early breakfast so we could get to our plane on time, went out of their way to make our stay in Cape Town a pleasant one. What can i say, from the friendly greeting to the last minute kiss goodbye, the people here were so friendly they couldn't do enough for you, from the service at breakfast to the porters, to them helping you to get addresses to restaurants. The perfect charming little hotel you were loking for. Nicely decorated, individual rooms, superb breakfast, charming and warm welcome in a quiet residential area. We stayed there a week for work but I would go there any time while travelling with family. Highly recommened!
