What a find. From the moment we arrived we were made welcome with a thorough and warm introduction to the Villa. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful. The attention to detail was amazing. Every time we set out on foot we were provided with a clear and concise map with instructions, so we arrived flustered at our destinations. The... More

This spacious, peaceful, & beautifully decorated guest house is the perfect start to a Cape Town visit. The owners & staff make it a priority to help you get oriented & make the best of your visit. Breakfast is delicious, & great restaurants are within a short walk.

We stayed here for 5 nights in mid - August and loved it! We made a mistake when booking, however they were very accommodating and made us feel most welcome. Keith, Cindy and Louis (we didn't meet Jimmy) were all very helpful in making local recommendations and assisting with rental car bookings etc. Our room was beautiful and had great... More

The accomodations are fantastic. The villa is very clean and spacious. The staff is incredibly friendly with the owners meeting with each guest each morning to help with the day's itinerary and provide local suggestions. The breakfest is always a delight with the help of the four staff ladies who add to the experience. Foreign land and cities we came... More

...the minute you walk through the door and meet the innkeeper for the first time that you have arrived someplace special. We stayed her for 5 nights in September, the final stop on a trip that included a short safari in Kruger park. We couldn't have asked for more. The staff was wonderful - warm and friendly and helpful -... More

Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. All the staff were friendly and caring. Easy to get anywhere in Capetown from the guest house and we... More

Stayed here twice in early September. The hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood and close to some excellent restaurants. We really enjoyed the old houses, the African décor, the friendly staff, good breakfast and excellent advice about things to do. Room was large and well appointed with very comfy bed!

The Villa is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. It is three separate buildings that have been attached. During our 5 day stay, we relaxed many times in one of the two living areas. These areas and the dining room are nicely decorated with South African art and curios. Breakfast is included and it is wonderful! There is complementary port.... More

On the recommendation of a friend, we stayed at African Villa in early September for our 5 day visit to Capetown. The African themed decor in the main rooms was charming and our room itself was large and airy. The staff were beyond helpful. Breakfast was a delight and the whole experience was top notch!!

This is one of my favorite inns in the world. Personal attention from the great hosts, stunning decor, a location which is very near many fine restaurants, and very comfortable rooms with first class amenities made our six day stay a very memorable experience.I can't recommend it highly enough.
